Title: Advice Needed, Phalloplasty and Glansoplasty
Post by: stavraki on May 22, 2013, 11:19:30 PM
Has anyone heard of the Perovic Foundation in Serbia (where I'm booked in for phalloplasty and glansplasty)?

I have seen really varied results, and some of them are fantastic, and some are not so fantastic.  Are there post-operative methods to correct and sculpt the glans (where most of the aesthetic problems are) after surgery?

And does anyone know of a Dr Djinovic (who used to be a colleague of Professor Perovic, before he died)?

Cheers

I have heard of him, and I know that he did all of Dr Perovic patients from 2000 on because perovic was too old to operate. I don't know anybody who has gone for surgery to him. I think he should be good.

Deeply appreciative.

I really love the guy's international liaison officer for handling os referrals.  the sample pics they send of their work, and all their 'words' are great, but there's nothing like direct comments from the world who know of/about him.

kind regards to u

I'd suggest joining the ftmphalloplastyinfo group on yahoo. I'm almost positive that there are guys on there who have gone to him. And they do glans sculpting i believe just not in the first stage.

thank you and kind regards.  I've accessed the forum and found the information needed.  I've been following two June surgeries and both are going well.  I understand that Dr Djinovic's methods are pretty good, in terms of aesthetics.  There's also an Australian guy I have been in contact with, who I know through networks, whose surgical result looks authentic.  There are two Serbia surgical groups.  I do not trust the second (who I won't mention).

This is an expensive process.  It's going to cost about 50,000 Australian dollars, all up, over three surgeries.  But, ya know what, I'm just relieved to have an option.  And I've also regained sexual function, pre-surgery, because mind-over-matter motivation has been a strong impetus and I've unearthed amazing discoveries about how the sexual self can adapt to body trauma.

Everything's going to be okay.  I've only been in this place for about two weeks.  It really didn't feel like things were okay for some months.  I'm extremely grateful for my situation.

Cheers and Kind Regards, thank you for responding
