Title: That time to get a new binder
Post by: MarcoMacabre on June 08, 2013, 01:50:17 PM
I've had my LoveBoat http://www.lesloveboat.com/shop/product_info.php?cPath=78_79&products_id=77 (http://www.lesloveboat.com/shop/product_info.php?cPath=78_79&products_id=77)O-neck II binder for a while now and I want to get a new binder. Now this binder has served me well but it isn't the binder that I want again. I want a binder that will flatten me out more. I'm not comfertable getting a binder from Underworks and money isn't the issue. Although a problem is that I am bigger chested and I'm sure that the short cut off binders will end up hurting my stomach for when I sit down because I do not have a flat stomach. Not flat just average sized? So I'm wondering where to buy my next binder that will actually be food for binding but not to the point where I end up hurting.

Though have you looked at this one from Loveboat? It has a mesh back and has mild compression of the stomach-- nothing extreme just looks nice. No velcro is a pull-over. http://www.lesloveboat.com/shop/product_info.php?cPath=83&products_id=82 (http://www.lesloveboat.com/shop/product_info.php?cPath=83&products_id=82)

I have three of them and love them. (I mean for a binder!!!)  I basically can't stand anything else.

I tuck mine in or it rides up but it isn't aggressive about coming up or anything and stays tucked and neat. A weird thing is that the whites are smaller than the greys (and I am assuming black). Just weird!

Yeah...but it looks more like it is more comfertable than going flat which is what I am looking for. I also don't know about pull overs because I bought one from Underworks for my first one and it was a nightmare trying to get on.

My understanding is that Loveboat's are *much* easier to get on. I actually wear a couple sizes too big. You wouldn't think that that would bind but it actually does. Also for some reason the grey runs bigger. I think this one comes in a velcro version if you like them, I do not like the feeling of velcro against my skin, even a little tiny bit of it. I have Asperger's though, so maybe not quite a fair eval.

I know the loveboat high performance and high strength binders are the highest rated on their website. The high performance come in long (top link), so as long as you're okay with velcro these seem like they could work.

Personally don't like the velcro as it rubs against me. It's soft (relatively), and I don't think most people would be bothered by it. I could wear something underneath but it just makes it warmer. I have the Air Max. I won't do a review on their page til I get a new credit card (though if these last maybe not). You notice how many girl names are on the site. Really don't like this, it's tied to your billing address.
