I am pre-hrt, but I digress I have never been one to take off my shirt in public much. I even wear a shirt in the pool, but this is also in part because of the fact that I burn. I am super self conscious.

I miss being able to go out in public without having to wear a bra.

Just sayin.

In the next few days I will be given my first packet of boob seeds. Stop panicking me folks! :o

As I do not transition, that could be an advantage of me.
Last summer, I went to the beach with my little daughter, and could not wear any kind of bra.
Fortunately, nobody took notice of the bra mark, but I always get nervous when taking off the top.

Well, now that I have a nice "bikini tan" it would be quite awkward to be in shirtless boy mode and have a tan with untanned boobs ;)

I never thought I would myself say "It feels great to get this bra off"

That came a few months after I was shoe shopping and said laughing "I can't walk in flats"

Sports bras, letting women go semi topless since....well i don't know  when they were invented lol.

I never missed it, even before transition. After a certain age, I never went bare chested ever, even in the most devastating heat waves. I was way too neurotic about how I looked, lack of muscles, being hairless blah blah.

I think you can imagine the reactions I would get without a shirt on ;)   And I really dont plan on doing it anymore in public....things have changed

Same. After I got the nickname "b**ch-tits" from the neighborhood kids in third grade, I never really felt comfortable without a shirt on. Ironically, now that nickname is somewhat of a positive thing :P

Boob seeds just made my day!

I wander around topless all the time at home.  I was briefly self conscious around my roommates the first few months on hormones, but now I've given up caring.
In public, well that's a different matter.
Though the bigger my boobs get, the more comfortable I am in public with no bra on.

Hahahaha, I keep hitting my boobs on things all the time.  It's ridiculous how much they can get in the way some times, plus they seem to need more adjustment than testicles o.O

I grew up going to the South of France for summer and its all topless - male and female and also speedo swim trunks for men and g string bottoms on women. Yes, I miss it so much as i'm transitioning but look forward to going topless again soon.

How many women do you see in a given day who are braless?  Tons!  I wear my bra almost 24/7 as a matter of survival because my breasts are so much heavier now than my B cup days and even in bed I wear a bra.  But I do occasionally go out braless, so why not YOU!

I still don't understand how anyone could wear a bra to bed. I could never do it (when I still wore them, of course).

Just be careful everything doesn't smoosh up towards your neck if you roll onto your back. Waking up with a face full of your own chest is never pleasant.

For the most part I wear a sports bra with or without a top on ;-)

Oh. It is surprising that so many U.S. states actually allow topless for women. In the U.S., I have never seen except some nudist camps.

I haven't been able to go topless since puberty - too much natural development - and that was a bummer because everybody swam in the summer. I could only go swimming with the girls when they went skinny-dipping otherwise I attracted too much attention.

I wore a bra most of my life and couldn't wait to take it off when I got home. Now that I am retired, I rarely wear a bra, only to stop my boobs from sweating underneath (44DD) and if anyone has a problem with my 'high beams', that's THEIR problem!

Just a question of supporting a lot of heavy tissue.  I tried several "sleep" bras but I need a bit more support than that, but I draw the line at wearing an underwire to bed.  Matter of fact, I do not wear an underwire at any time -- gotta keep my ducts and glands healthy and no inflammation.

I've got Tanner-II breast buds hiding under there..." Oh well. As long as I can eventually wear a bikini top, who cares? I'll take being allowed to wear short shorts over being allowed to take my shirt off any day. Men's shorts are just awful.

Of course, for the time being I'm just stuck... this summer is going to really suck, because I can't take my shirt off anymore, but I can't wear female summery clothes yet either. Sigh... maybe next year.

It feels uncomfortable to wear a bra to bed. I got a lot of boobage going on and what I do is snuggle them bewteen a pillow. I have always slept like that kinda but now it is a necessity.

I wear a bra to bed an when I wake up the bra is still in place even strapless bra.

If I went out topless I probably get arrested for indecent exposure    :)

Honestly, I don't understand you all. Apart from the fact my chest is pretty sensitive at the moment, I find my bra pretty comfy. It was always a weird feeling to have just one layer of fabric over my chest, anyway. I know, it's psychological, and I'm weird. :p

All that to say I don't miss it at all. The only thing I miss is swimming. But let's face it, it required removing my shirt, and it made me feel awful for that, anyway. So I can still wait. Five years without swimming; I can take a couple more!

I never miss going topless. When I was in my old self, I hated being shirtless in the summers when it came to swimming, and I am so glad that maybe next year I will be able to wear something decent... of course, my boobage is small that I could potentially just go with a T-shirt, wet or dry, but I think that even small boobs get noticed.  :-\

Pfffft.  Out, proud, and beautiful.  Shake 'em if you got 'em.   ;)

I'm small enough that I could likely take my top and bra off and nobody would notice that I had breasteses.
