Title: Packing and Swimming??
Post by: rasekan on June 26, 2013, 05:43:46 PM
This is my first post, hopefully I'm doing this right. c:
I would like to know how you guys pack while swimming? I have heard about wearing compression shorts or jammers or jockstraps underneath board shorts, does anyone know good brands for those? I (obviously) need something that's going to really keep everything under control.
Thanks!

One thing to watch out for if you're going to pack while swimming is what material your packer is made out of.  If it's absorbent at all, i.e. a Mr Limpy, you run the risk of looking like you've had an "accident" when you get out and the rest of you dries faster than your packer.  To be on the safeside I'd be tempted not to pack, but go looking for some shorts with a velcro fly, apparently you can't tell the difference with those, and being in cold water would generally make a cis guy's shrink anyway.

I just make sure that my harness has my packer EXTRA secure and close to my body. It makes it more secure and easier for you to feel if it's slipping out of place at all.

A tip would be to wear some tighter boxer briefs (they don't have to be too small, just hug your skin . . . if that makes sense) and avoid boxers as they don't really keep things secure down there. At least from my experience. Then just wear your swim trunks of course.

*Also, don't be paranoid about people thinking your weird for wearing underwear under your skin trunks. Guys do it all the time!

I use a harness that I made myself.  It's made out of the netting that lines most trunks and elastic bands from an old harness that I never used anymore.  I haven't had any issues with it, and have worn it to a water park twice.

Danny that harness looks great! Is that a cock ring in the middle?

It was part of the old harness I sacrificed.  Any o ring would work, as long as its the right diameter.  The netting would fray otherwise.  The netting came from the lining of one of my boyfriend's trunks.  He always cuts the lining out, and that's where I got the idea.  That way, I don't need to worry too much about the shape of the fabric.
