Title: Hey...
Post by: matthewzguitarz on June 27, 2013, 02:04:26 AM
Well, I am horrible at introduction posts, so this may make no sense. I am not sure if I should have registered here or not, but seems like the people here are nice and could possibly help me.

Anyways, I am a teen and currently thinking I might be transgendered(that is the word, right?), but am unsure, might just be a phase that somehow has lasted about 10 years. Right now I am very confused about all of this, and kind of scared because I don't think my family and friends will understand if this is really me. Pretty much, I will stop here about this since I am not sure if I should be posting here still.

On to the randomness. I am a kind and caring person and have thought a lot about going to college to become a nurse after high school, but am still unsure about that since I am bad at making decisions. I play the guitar, and am learning to play the violin, and do some singing, though I am not very good. I only have a few friends, more like 2 friends who hate each other, and the girl I hang out with at youth group, I also have 2 younger brothers, an older brother, and an older sister. I have always had problems expressing myself and telling people about myself, so kind of just let people figure me out on their own, seems to be working.

Sorry for the length, but I think it is good to have a lot of details. I used to play a lot of video games, but now only play one, very rarely.

Recently feelings I haven't felt much since I was 6 have come back, so I have been crying almost every night trying to figure this out, and yelling at random people, so also sorry if I offend people or something.

Anyways I will stop here because I just realized it is 12am.

Matthewzguitarz - cool name.  And welcome from the boonies of southern California.

Sounds like you have been struggling for a long time with this.  But you have friends here to talk to about things.

Hi Matt-axe. Don't worry about the style or layout of your posts. It's not a school assignment...and don't worry about making up words. Once upon a time there were literally no words; they are all made up. I only fell into this place a few weeks back and it is becoming quite addictive. There are a whole lot of people and opinions here and a large age range from those like you to those like me. I am 143 years old and still got my own teeth. (Well I think there mine. I was at a teeth swapping party).

Hi Matthew, :icon_wave:

Welcome to our little family. Over 11825 . That would be one heck of a family reunion.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another member. (https://www.susans.org/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fsmileys.on-my-web.com%2Frepository%2FAnimals%2Fferret-3.gif&hash=f49e2f86761323f2abd9c33941920389dbb3b10f)

Thanks ;D, just going to take me a while to get comfortable posting here(kind of shy.. or maybe just suck at expressing myself). Sorry for the late replies, can't really get on unless I'm sure no one will burst into my room, so pretty much when my family is gone, or around 10pm-12am.

Welcome to susan's.

As for the length as you put it. Yours was short, sweet, and simple. There are some people *cough* me on occasion who post really long posts that seem like books. Those are long. What I am trying to say is dont worry about length. Share your thoughts as you wish and know that you are welcome.

Took a look around and really like it here, have found posts that kind of relate to me, and have made me think more(I like to think by the way).

I own a Fender Telecoustic, a Epiphone Special II(I think that was the name of it), and a violin I got for my birthday from one of my aunts. I also have a keyboard I got from another aunt while I was in Texas, though I rarely play it. Oh, and I own my voice :) or at least hope I do.

Cool :)

I have interesting views on things I guess, but easier to show them online since people aren't looking at me, and I don't have to worry about the lisp thing I have(mostly people I have never met before, or people who have known me for a long time notice it, but like people who I haven't seen in months will think it is gone).

Hey there. I get that whole worrying about people busting in on you thing. My sister (who is also my roommate) is terrible about respecting my privacy. So I too wait until it's quiet around here to do anything serious online.

I once saw a video of someone who auditioned for the The X Factor or The Voice...can't remember which and they had a lisp. It went away when they sang though. Does it work like that for you?

Not sure, since I still hear it when I am singing. I am actually kind of curious if people actually hear it, or if I am just imagining it. Though I think people hear it since a girl told me I sounded cute with it.

The United States, though I want to visit another country in the future, maybe before or after college.
