Any type of thread will do. It takes a while to sew by hand, and try to use an expanding type of stitch... Don't ask I'm not that good at sewing so I can't explain it very well, I'll do a Google on it. Hey you do that and let me know what you find out and I'll put it up in the Wiki... :)

how do you use..the wiki page?
Click here (http://susans.org/wiki) and it will take you to the Wiki. Click here (http://susans.org/wiki/Tucking_and_Taping#Make_Your_Own_Gaff) and it will take you to the Stephiegaff :)
At the top of each page at Susan's you will see various links. At the Right you will see "Wiki". Just click and go. The Wiki is our repository og knowledge that is specifically aimed at providing pertinent information to the members of Susan's. When you clink on the "Wiki" link at the top of each page you will be taken to the main page of the Wiki. There you are presented with many links that members commonly look for. However on the left side is a search box where you type in a key word or phrase of the item you are looking for.

Well then I'll give you a tip for those unused bottom ends of the pantyhose, cut the foot off and put xxx sugar in it and store that in your bin or container of xxx fine sugar and it can be squeezed for dusting xxx sugar!
also for rock climbers works as good for making chalk balls to put in your climbing chalk bags!
Freebie, no charge! :o
