Title: conversation with my mom
Post by: ajayjo on July 15, 2013, 09:36:55 PM
Hey i want to share with yall today. Last week ago, when my mom texted me and found out about me being transitioning. I was so nervous and didnt expected her to found out before i plan to tell her in person but she asked me about how long ive been on testosterone since and everything. I asked her if she been upset and mad. She wasnt mad or upset or anything. She was so surprised. She told me that she still love me no matter what. Im still her child. She want to make sure everything ok with my health long as im on testosterone. She want to support me forever. I was like it makes me so happy! Im so lucky to have her as my mom. She is my truly best friend. Let me ask you all something....Do your parents accept you for who u are and continue support u?

It's really great to hear that, I'm happy for you  :)
Family can be surprising sometimes, my mom is incredibly supportive and said a lot along the lines of what your mom said. She tells me that she may not understand it but she puts my happiness above all else, so that's pretty great.
