Title: Laser and electrolysis simultaniously?
Post by: Paige0000 on July 17, 2013, 05:38:24 AM
Hey girls I've currently had 9 laser sessions so far and a strong chunk of my facial is gone (Chin is stubborn though grr!). However I thought it time to start electrolysis and even my therapist suggested it too and thus have a consolation booked next week. The thing is though I still have 4 laser sessions remaining (paid for a 4 get 2 free deal) and was curious if any problems can arise having laser and electrolysis done at the same time? I.e 1 laser sess, then electro sess a week later, and the two weeks following then another laser week?

It's possible but you need a mm or 2 growth so the person doing electrolysis can probe and pull it. Because laser in theory cooks the hair follicle itself it might take a little extra time to grow to the right length. Other than that I recommend the usual to keep skin happy (sun block with zinc, ibruprofen to reduce inflammation).
