I haven't used forum code for ages. I remember that you could link to a YouTube clip with a description of your choosing without the YouTube video being embedded to the thread.
i.e
Hakuna Matata
If you clicked on the word you would be directed to a YouTube clip.

:P, I tried that way, but i was of the impression i was doing it wrong.... I guess they just automatically embed.
