Yay, Jamie!

Is there a way of donating without using PayPal (i.e. credit/check card)?

Thanks!  :)

[admittedly a dumb question: were there other ways to pay, they would be made available... but I seem to have picked up a bias against PayPal, somewhere along the line...]

While the bugs were being working out, I used the "Paid Subscriptions" button in my Forum Profile

On the Tool Bar click on "Profile" and then "Summary" from the drop down menu.

When your Forum Profile summary comes up, click on "Actions" and "Paid Subscriptions" from the drop down menu.

Not a dumb question at all.  Some of our younger members might want to contribute, but don't have a credit or debit card.

I would like to renew this question. I read over the PayPal TOS and I find them unpalatable.

(They require an arbitration agreement, which is basically agreeing that if they steal money from me, I can't take them to court. Instead I have to beg a person of their choosing to make them give it back and that person can rule against me without having to give any reason. I'm not exaggerating. That's exactly what it says.)

Is it possible to have an address to send checks to? I really want to buy a subscription, but after a lot of thought I still can't put aside my concerns about PayPal.

You can do non-reoccurring payments with paypal, and it does not require you to establish a paypal account (accept their tos and other agreements).  It just means you have to manually renew the account when it comes up for expiration.  I will point out that I have had a personal paypal account for over 6 years, and have never had a single issue. I think the arbitration agreement is pretty standard for Terms of Services with large corporations.

I am a longtime Paypal account holder as well, I've never had a problem.
