Hey everyone,
Since my dose was increased a few days ago, I was wondering if it is better to split or take it all at once. My script is to split the doses, so I imagine that's the best thing to do; however I did take ir all at once before and felt amazing. Like an estrogen filled cloud of happiness. I'm curious abou the everyone's opionion on this.
P.s. I hope this is an okay discussion. I know we have a lot of rules with hrt meds, so let me know if it's Susan's approved, lol.

I never tried it. I too am on 2*/D. When I go back next month I think he will ask if I want injectable and a higher dose. I hate needles but I will have no issue and gladly use one if I get the higher dose.

I think 2 different times of the day is better in the fact it helps even out the dose and stops the hormone spike. At this moment in time (post) they removed me off Injectables and now i am on the patch 2 x a week.

Take as directed...my endo advised that it doesn't matter "in the long run" but I do take half in the morning, and half about 12 hours later. (pills)

I'm guessing rhe consensus is twice a day. I really felt great that first day when I doubled my dose in one shot. I'm guessing I need to be more patient, but I have been on it for over 40 days. I guess the dose was too kow before and maybe having the spiro now will kick start things soon enough.

Ideally some docs would like you to take it three times per day, every 8 hours. Divide your daily dose by 3. I take mine twice a day.

Also the HRT is started with a low dose. They move it up and do a testosterone or estrogen level test and adjust your dosages accordingly. Also a periodic liver and kidney blood panel test is done to prevent damage to those.
