first off if this isn't the appropriate forum for this I apologize in advance.

I just ordered (and received) my new wig, giving me three now.  I was hoping for some advice on which one was the best "fit" for me - my (otherwise wonderful) wife isn't really giving me a definitive answer - she "likes them all" - not that I don't, each of them has something I like, but that's not very helpful.   So I thought perhaps I could get some unbiased opinions here.

There are pictures from earlier today of all three of them in the Flickr link below; now they were taken in a hurry since it was starting to storm and I wanted to get them all taken outside, so the "styling" might leave a bit to be desired.  *ANY* thoughts/comments/etc. would be greatly appreciated. :)

I think I like the Stella wig best, although the Michelle wig is pretty, too. I really liked the photos with your hair pulled back. That somehow made things look more natural to me.

Side note: I love your glasses! They're very similar to the ones I'm looking at getting. :D

Thanks.  As far as the glasses - they were ordered online from Zenni Optical and I think lens included they cost me $12.99.  Best pair I've ever had. :)

I like Stella best, too. It frames you best.  Also like the glasses.

Madison, out of curiosity, do you order your wigs online or buy them in person?

For the first one ("Michelle"), my roommate drug me to a local wig shop.  She had called ahead and arranged for us to deal with the owner and setup the appointment right at closing time so we were the only ones there.  She didn't have anything in stock that I liked that would also fit my overly large head - but after trying a few different brands on we were able to determine that the Estetica wigs (even though they say "Average") would fit - she said they run a bit large.  From there we went through their catalog until I found something I liked.  She ordered it and when it came in we went back to pick it up and make sure it fit. 

The last two I've ordered online instead.  I felt a touch bad about that since the lady was so helpful on the first one, but the price difference was significant - about 30-40% cheaper to order it online.  I don't begrudge paying the extra for the first one since she was so helpful, but it's a large enough difference I just couldn't justify continuing to do it.  Now, if I were to find something in another brand that I *really* liked, I'd probably go back to her for that.

I like the idea of booking a private showing at a shop. I'm still very panicky about walking into a store and doing anything too public or obvious.

The Stella one and the Michelle one work best because you have a round face. I also think a lace front wig would work for you as it would enable you to sweep the hair back and have much lighter bangs. You would just need to have baby hairs along the front to conceal the edges of the lace cap. But of those you do have the Stella one is the best.

The newest one (the "Sienna") is a lace front one - felt funny the first few minutes - I guess in comparison to the others; but after that I didn't notice it.  I really wanted that new one to "work" since it's shorter and I thought I'd have an easier time with it when my wife or roommate wasn't around to make sure it looked okay; but it's just not doing it for me. :(

When my hair was boyish short I thought a wig would get me by for awhile but one of the girls here just told me to be patient, deal with it best you can and just grow it out.

its been well over a year and a half since its been cut at all and I'm quite happy with it now :) A bonus is how my natural color looks when its longer! I had no idea at all since its never been this long.

Shoot. Sorry to be controversial, but the Sienna definitely has something going for it. It seems less wiggy, looks more natural and it seems to frame your face nicely. And my name isn't even Sienna.  ;D

Thanks.  The longer I wore it that evening the more it grew on me (I wasn't sure I liked it at first).  I still think I prefer the longer one (the "Stella"), but I have grown to like the Sienna as well.

Go with Stella, she looks the best hun.

Thanks, it is the one I like the best - I had just hoped the Sienna would look good since it was shorter (and hopefully easier for me to deal with by myself).

For what it's worth I got another picture of the newer one tonight - please ignore the lack of makeup, my face is still a little broken out from Saturday's laser session.  I think now that it's gotten used a couple of times it's at least a little better than the original pictures - although I'm still not sure I like it as much as the others.

I like them all I have about four of my own and it seems that at any one time one of them works best with my mood. I would embrace them all and ware the one that makes you feel the best at that time. It's all about how you feel about yourself. Good luck and enjoy the privilege of developing their own look that one of the beauties of being female.

They all look good but I think the Stella looks best.
