Title: Given an oppportunity
Post by: Liam on August 03, 2013, 06:13:16 AM
I'm not out to anyone. A close (female) friend made a comment yesterday "you're more like a guy a lot of the time", and it didn't seem teasing or anything, she seemed really sincere and almost like she was expecting a response. I've been feeling like I really need to come out to at least one person, and hear someone calling me by my chosen name. This friend is probably one of the most honest and genuine people I know, and I think she might be a good first person to come out to. I just need to steel myself to say the words. Does anyone have suggestions on how I can prepare?

Stand in-front of a mirror and reenact what you might say and how she might respond  :P

Just prepare your thoughts and feelings. You will be fine. =]

If she's your friend and you feel comfortable about her reaction,  just be open and honest.  I think that's the best thing to do.   Good luck!
