Picked up the radiologist's reports from the orthopedist's office today. There's two herniated discs, but we knew that much already. Bit of bursitis in my hip, to go along with the tendinopathy in there and the labrum that has decided to detach itself. Cartilage damage in my shoulder and all, too. Real fun stuff, eh?
But no. That's not allowed to be the end of it.
There's also a cyst measuring 2.8 x 2.5 centimeters displacing things, as well as one measuring at least 4.1 centimeters. The worst part for me isn't the cysts themselves, but their location. I mean, come on. I just had a freaking ultrasound of at least one of these places. They can try again with the ultrasound, but if they have even an inkling of putting something up there, they're going to be in for a bad time.
The smaller cyst is on the left side around a duct that decided to hang around even though it didn't get the opportunity of forming into what it should have been via the influence of that wonderful master switch known as SRY. The larger is located inside one of the most nauseating organs I can think of, which I have absolutely zero use for whatsoever.
You know what? They can have that whole area in there, take everything and put it on display in a nice jar. I'm not using them for anything ever, unless they actually try reprogramming those stupid female things into testicles in humans and not just mice. That'd be wonderful, but even still, they can have the other thing. I'm so done with all of this.
I love how several doctors saw these reports and films, and nobody even bothered telling us. Nice job, guys.

Thanks. Today I'm enjoying the first day in six years where I've been freed from my chronic hip pain, but of course I had to get a bruise right where they inserted the gargantuan needle into my hip to put a damped on things. And apparently my shoulder damage is a lot worse than previously thought, yet the surgery is complicated and likely won't even help.
Bah, according to the pain management specialist, my shoulder is even worse than my hip.
