Title: what does arousal feel like (detail please)??

I cannot seem to find a detailed description of what arousal feels like after srs and i am beginning to suspect not much at all. Please, prove me wrong!
What does it feel like to be arousal after srs. Is there increased pressure down there? Do the labia become engorged? If someone else were to touch your inner labia, can you feel it like someone touching your lips? How wet do you get? Do you get the desire to be penetrated? What does it feel like when a dilator or penis is inside?

Dilators are hard plastic un-personal demanding chore. No arousal for me with them at all.

I am wanting to say this might just be in the wrong spot but I will give you my opinion and experience, just like as mind said dilator's = a chore no joy what so-ever IMO not a fun event, I told my mom once when I was going to have to dilate id be back in 45 minutes I was off to go play with myself, but not fun.
I don't get any pressure or swelling 99% of the material that does that is no longer there, but it doesn't effect me getting turned on, I generate some heat there and I do get some self lubricating as well when I get turned on.
Usually we start out with 4 play till I cant stand it any longer than well, I gotta have it and have to have it right then! there is nothing that compares to real flesh and blood and a fellas penis inside so I have no description other than it feels good, now is it satisfying? only if he cant get me off lol

The first indications of arousal (for me) are feeling "hot and puffy" in the nether regions and the clit becoming harder and more noticeable. If it continues, I become wet. If the arousal is part of foreplay, I can become quite wet (noticeably so to the other person). The sensitivity of "everything between the lips" increases considerably and the desire to engage in intercourse becomes quite overwhelming! (NOT a good time for a partner to try to roll over and go to sleep - it AIN'T gonna happen! LOL!!!!)
The feeling of being penetrated by a man is unlike anything else and defies any attempt at description in words other than "pure heaven"!

It wont do you any good! It was 1974, Dr. Stanley Biber (May 4, 1923 – January 16, 2006). He said to me "I will do everything I can to make sure you have a good sex life." He succeeded in SPADES! LOL!
Oh, I forgot to mention my G-spot and being multi-orgasmic .... not to rub it in ...... ROFLMAO!!!

It's hard to describe... at first it feels almost like an erection, only much much smaller and with all the "tension" concentrated in one tiny area. (Several cis women have said the same thing to me, actually.) As far as I can tell, my clit does get firmer/erect, but it's not possible to see that with the naked eye. With time and enthusiasm, yes, my labia become a bit engorged and vastly more sensitive, although the sensation is probably because by then I'm focusing on the area! I can *always* feel touch/sensation in both sets of labia, but when I'm into it enough I about come out of my skin over even gentle stroking there.
I do get wet, although not in copious amounts until near the end.
I've only ever felt a dilator, so that's *not* an arousing context; it feels like, well, shoving a hard plastic object in there. I'm also primarily into women; dunno what to say about "desire to be penetrated," because to me that's purely mental and depends on what kind of sex you want. I think it'd be cool, I guess, but it's not a driving need.

I have to ask, because google didn't turn up anything. How does a post op mtf have natural lubrication? I'm not even entirely sure what causes lubrication in many cisgendered females, so color me confused!

If I am not mistaken and I might be, even a castrated person or a person who has received an orchi produces "something" and that something is from the prostate, basically clear fluid that is slippery, so this is where the we would get out wetness from.

Post-op, the MtF transitioner usually retains the seminal vesicles (near the bladder, which produce some of the seminal fluid), prostate (which produces much of the seminal fluid) and the Cowpers Glands (beneath the prostate, which produce the pre-ejaculate).
Natal females have homologous tissues and glands.

It difficult to describe,
When you get aroused, you feel excited inside, and you get this over whelming urge to have sex and you really want a penis inside you

"partially disgusted" is not a good lead-in. ;)
In cis women, lubrication diffuses through the vaginal tissue, which is a mucous membrane (like the inside of your mouth). There's some
debate over where it comes from in trans women, which may be because it comes from more than one possible source and not all women are benefiting from all the theoretical sources. Some studies have even suggested that the vaginal lining eventually changes to become fundamentally identical to the cis version, plus all the possibilities suggested by Jamie and calico. In the case of fluid produced by seminal vesicles, Cowpers glands, and prostate, that liquid would most likely be delivered via the urethra instead of diffusion, but it's unlikely that a non-gynecologist will be able to tell the difference.
I know that Brassard also uses the inside of the urethra to line some of the bits, and as that is mucous membrane in its original location,
it continues to be (=produces small amounts of lubrication) when relocated.
I'm not personally sure where any of it is coming from, but I do know that I'm slippery/wet during sex and leave a small puddle after orgasm, so it's pretty unmistakably happening.

I would concur with that! About half of the natural lubrication comes from the urethra, particularly in the beginning, but there also seems to be some from the vagina and the labia minora.

I'm totally pre-op, but when I get aroused, slimy fluid leaks through my urinary opening. I imagine the process will be even more efficient when the path from the glands to the outside world is shortened.
Or so a girl can hope...

Sorry to intrude, ladies, but I am quite fascinated. I am a pre op man, and I plan to stay that way for a while, so I would be using a prosthetic. I always wondered how it would be if I ever ended up single and got with a post op mtf woman, if it would go well because I didn't know if wetness was possible. I am quite glad to know that it is, at least it won't be painful on her end.

Quote from: TheLance on September 01, 2013, 06:51:53 PMEven if a girl can't get wet at all down there, the least a guy could do is use some lube. I think for post op women lube is a good idea anyway unless things down there get slippery enough on its own ;). Even though I'm years from being able to have my operation, I'm a little nervous about my first time with a guy. The idea alone turns me on but when I really think about it I'm really nervous about getting hurt or if something goes wrong down there, so yeah I don't care if I naturally get wet I'm still going to use lube at least for my first time.

Indeed, plenty of cis women need some lube, too. It's only in porn or a few very very fortunate women that there's gallons of natural wetness dripping everywhere. :)
I'm fairly sure (based on past girlfriends) that what I produce is within the range of cis normal, if on the low end of it. Plus, at the risk of being even more indelicate, my experience with them was that it was partly also an "on demand" system - that penetration and thrusting triggered more as the body reacted to necessity. I haven't actually *tried* penetrative sex yet, so who knows, maybe I'm capable of more if prompted? (Not while dilating, that's for sure, but there is no less erotic activity than THAT.)

Being completely pre everything I have noticed that when I have penetrative sex, I did it once without lube and yeah the initial entry was not pleasant, but even in the back door my body supplied lubrication to where it quickly wasn't painful.

I can relate to a lot of what Jane said here. As to her description of being penetrated by a man... I wouldn't give that description myself necessarily. I would say however that sex is much more psychological than it was before transition even in consideration that prior to transition, for a "male" (for me) sex was probably a lot more psychological than it was for normal, average healthy males.
I have had some pretty non-Heavenly penetration. Sometimes it hurts, most of the time it doesn't produce an orgasm... but the act of being female in that moment can be pretty profound and psychologically rewarding for a woman who transitioned. I usually enjoy sex. The worst sex I ever had was with men who were accepting me as a woman instead of experiencing me as a woman. Having sex with men who are experiencing me as a woman tends to have a reward component to it that goes beyond the experience it self.
Sex has entirely changed for me since transition. It went from a physical act with a physical reward to being a million possible different things at any given moment which is to say that sex used to be like a solid but now it is more like a vapour and it tends to escape definition.

Dilators might be ok. The clitoris is where some people find the action and perhaps all that's needed is some lube and some active daydreaming, the steamier the better. For some people the physical part consists of awakening the target area. I had SRS in the era when the labiaplasty could not be performed as part of the procedure and I waited to get that. After the labiaplasty, sensation increased from mildly pleasant to "fireworks," but not overnight.
