Title: My chest pre op

I was just wondering what ya'll would think. My chest has gotten smaller on T, and I've been lifting regularly as well, and gained about 15lb of muscle & some fat. I havent had top surgery, I'm hoping for it to get even smaller. Do you think it's possible?
Right now, I really can't go shirtless...I'm too worried, too self conscious. I think my nipples are slightly bigger than a guy would have. Sorry about the lighting in the pic. Do you guys think that people would think something? If I stand really straight, the only thing that's off is my nipple is a bit puffy and pointy, but no actual boobage whatsoever. Puffy pointy nipple -.-

From the back I look like a regular dude:

Please don't mind the sagging, I was being stupid outside :P

I'm not sure tbh. It looks...kind of borderline to me while you're flexing (I imagine that kinda lifts them up and makes them look more firm and pec-like). If you weren't flexing, I have a feeling they might not be something you could get away with. Unless you had a hairier chest. Sorry. :(

I have to agree with Caleb. When you flex, it shifts everything up top so you get a chest that's more flat. I'm still pretty muscular ( -_- ) and not very busty. Caleb and I kind of looked at how my breasts appeared before and after flexing. But kudos to you for working out, you look pretty buff! :D

Honestly, I think some people would think something was off, but mostly because they're not entirely 'normal' looking. I feel like a twat saying that, but hear me out. I don't think the first thought would be "those are a females breasts!", especially considering your body shape.
I've seen guys with a chest like that, but not with the (might I mention impressive, good job dude) muscle structure you have going. I mean, cis men have breast reductions and nipple reconstruction. So I guess am drawn to the nipples because they're not what I expect.
Again, looking at this pic as though you're a cis guy, I immediately think of men who have breast/nipple growth more than is considered 'the norm' and such, not of a ftm. I don't think it'd come up as my first thought, even being a ftm. We're not on most peoples minds.

It's possible they will (not sure how long you've been on T). If you don't mind wearing something like underarmour or something, you aren't going to look out of place anywhere. If you're shirt less, I don't know. People say weird things to each other sometimes. You could come up with a line like "genetics" or something. It's more how you feel about it I think.

I pretty much agree with the others and wouldn't personally risk it, but it's your call. Lots of guys have "man-boobs" - I see them all the time here. It just depends really, I suppose, on how well you pass otherwise. *shrug*

that's exactly what everyone says! I should post a better picture, the darkness makes my nipple look bigger than it really is, especially with the shadow. I can change shirts in front of guys quick and no weird looks or anything, done that several times yet still shy and nervous...
If I wear white tank tops, I'm perfectly fine, the point disappears and it's flattened out. But shirtless...nah...they look like moobs a guy 20-30lb more than me would have :(

For me I just see more of a moob shape than pec with that lighting, the curves aren't meeting close enough for pecs (which would be centre line) so it looks more like a moob curve. I can't even really see the nipple so that's why I can't see it working with the current picture. Maybe with better lighting?
Although looking awesome with the workouts! Major props there!

Ummm, I'll tell you what. Your top picture is right on the edge of the rules. Perhaps it will be better to make new pictures available upon request.

First of all, congrats on the results of all that hard work! I'm jealous, but that's mainly because of my D-cups; there's no way I'll get sufficient shrinkage on T so I have no choice but to have top surgery.
Now, to be brutally honest: as others have noted, flexing makes your chest look flatter, but I can see in your pic a certain 'roundness' that suggests underlying breast tissue. Unfortunately, that would've developed at puberty and it can only shrink so much on T. Moobs are mostly fat but a certain amount of breast tissue develops under the influence of oestrogen and it will remain there no matter how long you've been on T or how much weight you lose. Cisguys with gynaecomastia can lose all the weight they like but their moobs will remain because their breast tissue grew through exposure to oestrogen and the only way to lose it is through surgery. Losing weight (or exercising more) doesn't do squat.
Your nipples seen fine to me; I've seen cisguys with larger nipples. But the amount of breast tissue you have left would look a bit out of place if you were to go topless. Cisguys with moobs generally prefer not to go topless too. Sorry. :(

First of all BearGuy. Hot bod! :icon_flamed:
I went through the whole gym stage prior to realising I was trans and I always found that the pec-fly exercise really worked my centre chest, which is where a guys chest develops in comparision to a womens who develops more regularly than a guy. I found that cables had the best results, check this out - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C2MsZzGbsPw
Also do the same but with the cable anchor points at ankle level and your arms by your sides and lifting up and to chest height and that should tone out a bit of the puffiness.
BTW amazing body and good luck and you'll DEFINTELY need to post pics of the results.
Hugs :icon_hug:

Btw, thanks. I went and ended up looking at some older pictures, pre transition, of myself for comparison. I didnt realize how much I bulked up in my 20's. But, I have 2 pics where I'm shirtless. If it helps for comparison I'm willing to share. I wasnt as buff as you are, but most of my body weight in them is muscle.

I think you look fine BearGuy. With a T-shirt on no one would notice, at the beach (while you're not flexing) it might be a bit noticeable but I don't think it's really a big deal. I highly doubt anyone would say you're female just from a bit of puff on the chest. :)
