While I can sympathize with those of us that are over whelmed by all thing TG, actually, in my life it is all the other things that are a major weight on my psyche.
Religion and is it real or not.
Science, and is it accurate enough or not.
World politics and should I care or not.
Technology, and should I chuck some of it or not.
Social media, and would it be better if it wasn't free (and thus it took more desire to actually use it or not).
The climate topic and who is right and who is not.
Too much of the above, it occupies me too much, it worries me too much and it agitates me too much.
I'd rather spend the day fretting over dress sizes, make up and hair styles to be honest.
I'd rather be fussing over what to cook for dinner next.
I'd rather be giggling my head off with an anime instead of commenting on some current topic to be honest.
Or working on a model, or playing a board game.
To be honest, I find myself having trouble from detaching myself from all that daily grief.
I find myself wondering, if the son moves out, will I take the hit, lose my Netflix access and cut the internet out of my life and suffer with only going online at an internet cafe equal (like Tim Horton's).
The internet, it's always there, and all of my above list of dislikes, they are so insidious and hard to escape.
And saying 'well just don't go online' yes I know, sounds simple enough :)
Oh if only all the things in our lives that sounded 'simple enough' actually were.
Meanwhile, no, I don't feel over whelmed by all things TG, it has actually been something of a great revelation for me.
I have only ever been this much at peace once before in my life.
I'm not saying my journey isn't going to be a long slog uphill in slippery mud of course hehe.
But I will gladly swap that for all of my above list.
