Ok im just being nosey. But i remember when i first did full makeup on myself. before actually going out that is. And it took me over two and a half hours.
But after a lot of practice. And correcting a few mistakes that im sure many others have made as well. I have gotten that time down to around 20-30 mins.
So my nosey question is how long does it take you to do you makeup. and how long did it take you initially.

My daily routine? 5-10 min total. My Goddess what are you girls doing?
After I wash my face, cold water only. Oil of Olay with tint. Brush 'Nude' mineral base, highlight cheek bones, eyebrows, lippie then I'm gone. Perfume as I leave the house in usual panic

Well, I'm kind of cheating because I prefer to be natural. So for me it's just foundation and powder to cover up beard shadow. Used to take 20 mins. Now I can do it in 5-10

A typical sequence of my full makeup is like:
Toner -> Moisturizer -> Wrinkle diminishing cream -> Sun cream -> Foundation -> Powder
-> Eye shadow -> Eye liner -> Mascara -> Concealer -> Lip gross
It takes about 20 min after taking shower and rinsing my hair for 20 min.
When I am busy, I just wear Toner, Moisturizer and Sun cream. It takes about 5 min.
And sometimes I wear a mask pack for 15-20 min.
While wearing makeup, I dry my hair using a fan. When I had long hair, it took > 2 hours to completely dry my hair.
Yes. Usually I expect about 1 hour for shower and makeup in the morning.

I still have a shadow, so I still have to shave. That can take a half hour. Then moisturizer, foundation, eyeliner, mascara.

It used to take me a couple of hours, but now it takes about 2 minutes to do eyeshadow, 6 minutes to do my upper and lower eyeliner, 3 minutes for mascara, 3 minutes for foundation/powder, 1 minute for blush, a minute for lipstick, and 10 minutes to straighten my hair.

Quote from: Cindy on September 13, 2013, 11:48:03 AMI wish it could be done in 5-1`0 mins for me. but i still have the facial hair problem. Abnd also i have not started any Hrt yet, so im still using the makeup to cover up my male features. Thats why it takes me the extra time. Plus i feel more confident if i make myself up properly before going out.

Makeup by itself takes me about 5 minutes. I still have to shave too, although primarily white and gray hairs. To get ready everyday for work, it takes me about 20-25 minutes total to shower, shave, do my hair and get made-up and dressed.

Facial hair definitely adds a lot of extra time to the routine. I have since had laser hair removal and no longer have facial hair to contend with, but it used to take SO much time to shave as close as possible, then cover up with Benefit Boing or Dermablend concealer, then layer foundation and powder on top of that. Now I can just put sheer coverage (or even no coverage) and it takes much less time.

I just cleanse tone and moisturise now.I used to take 1 to 2 hours at first when I had to cover up facial hair but got it down to 15 minutes with just eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara and lip gloss.

The same as everyone else is reporting - used to take 2 hours, now it's down to about 35 minutes counting the shave time. I do eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara, a little bit of foundation & dermablend to hide whats showing of the beard shadow, some powder, and then some light peach blush powder on my cheekbones and I'm done. Hurry up and work laser!!

10-20 minutes here... I wash my face and neck, shave, then apply lotion, pat that off, then use a creamy light base to even out my skin, next I brush on a slightly darker foundation to make me look a bit less pallid (I use Urban Decay foundation for this, it comes in a compact with a little pan and a brush which makes it very fast and easy to blend everything out. I have redness on my neck (kind of like a permanent blush) so I like to even that out too.
Next, eyeshadow, eyeliner, then mascara, and finally blush on the cheeks and a bit under the jaw line. With practice, it gets pretty quick. With HRT I hope to eventually no longer need the foundation, since I like a pretty natural look, too. Right now, though, every little bit helps. ;)

When I started out I was about 40 minutes to do my makeup. But over time as my face has changed on hrt I've discovered I need it less and less and had got it down to ten minutes. Now I can finish in a few minutes because my everyday look is just tinted moisturizer and mascara. :)

15 minutes for the make-up part if using powder, add 5 minutes if using liquid foundation, not counting the rest of the routine, which comes to..
Shower, Exfoliate, shave, moisturize, eye contour moisturizer, dry hairs accidentally wet (30 minutes) followed by...
Liquid Foundation, Eyeliner, Concealer, blush, fix /matte powder, mascara, tinted lip balm.
The eyeshadow, usually reserved for special occasions. For quick trips I go like: Eyeliner, beard concealer, powder foundation, blush.
Nowadays the eyeliner is fairly fast for me (since I am using something that applies like a marker and I obviously haven't mastered the liquid one), and mascara is what takes longest for me. I wait 3-5 minutes after foundation and concealer before finishing my make up. Oh, and I can't do anything complex like contouring or whatever.

10 minutes or so if I don't apply eye makeup.
Extend that to 30+ minutes if applying eyeshadow or eyeliner.

I can shower, shave, do my hair and makeup in half an hour. I take about 5 minutes or so of the time with makeup.

Well, it depends on whether I'm going out on "date night" or getting groceries.
I can do foundation, brow pencil, eye shadow, eyeliner pencil, mascara, blush and lipstick in about 5 minutes now. On date night, more like 10 mins. Tonight probably more because I'm going for a '50s rockabilly look.
A year ago it took the better part of an hour (or more if I screwed it up!) because there was beard shadow involved. So glad that's gone!
