it was middle school... his name was jurion.. i felt madly in love with him. lol! now i could care less.

I didn't have one myself, but apparently I was someone else's crush. I actually came across them on classmates not long ago and sent a high, but I don't think the whole appearance and name change went over well with her. Even more than 30 years later, she remembered my full given name and told me she had a huge crush on me and I don't even recall actually giving her my middle name back then...

Lorraine,I was 12 and she sat on my left.She didn't want to know when I asked her out,I met her again 2 years ago at a school reunion she still looks great.

I was the only female in an all male school, well as far as I knew ::), I fancied lots of guys - they just didn't know about it :embarrassed: ;D

This guy called Gideon, who was the spitting image of George Michael. I was about 14 at the time. This was long before George Michael's extravagant coming out; guess I could tell anyway, huh? :P

Ah, a topic that made me smile!
At age 12 I changed schools and David sat right behind me. I had always found boys to be obnoxious and loud but puberty had started and my opinion was changing, especially as far as David was concerned and we became close friends. He became my first love and the feelings were reciprocated but the situation was greatly complicated by the fact that I was supposed to be a boy and homosexuality was a HUGE taboo in the 1960s. He, more than anyone else, could see the "other side of me" and the mutual attraction was, at times, overpowering. Because of the complexities, I always let David set the limits but that attraction led to my first ever passionate kiss by age 14 and likely would have gone farther if the situation had been different. We remained very close friends for many years but both knew we were playing with fire.
I wish he had stayed around for a few more years, until my situation was resolved, but he didn't. He married when I was away at college but even after that, the attraction was still there and VERY strong. It was only 2 years after his marriage when SRS became available and I was off to a new life. He never had the chance to see "the new me". But I will never forget him!
