Title: Just Started . . . Again . . .

I was part of this group about six years ago, and I wasn't really sure of where my life was going then. Then I met this wonderful woman who I had hoped would change my life. She still allowed me to do some cross-dressing and then I decided to partially give it up. But I still felt it nagging at me. Unfortunately she passed away last year and I've been seeing a therapist about various things, and now my transgendered life has come into the picture and I was telling him about my dreams that I've been having for the past few months where my female side has been metamorphisizing into my male self. He's taken this very seriously and we'll be discussing this in more detail. So basically I'm on the journey towards womanhood. :)

Thanks. It's always nice to come back to a warm place that I know that I can reach out with my problems, and if I do run into any serious problems that even my therapist can't handle, I know that one of my sisters here can always lend a helping hand. :)

That's really so thought full of you Izzy. That's exactly what I was telling my therapist the other day that as a 'woman' I'm so much at peace with myself. And like your avatar, I could be so graceful like a butterfly that nothing could touch me.

I did the same thing when I first started out, I stopped after 6 months. Then, 6 months later I started again since I finally admitted to myself that the feelings won't go away. I'm sorry to hear that your [girlfriend? wife?] passed away as well :( I hope you can sort everything out with your therapist and do what makes you happy.
I wish you the best of luck as you continue down the path!

Thanks Jamie for your kind words. It's been a year now, and getting over the memories is the hardest part. But I try to always keep the good memories with me. :) Thanks Sarah for your kind words as well. She was my wife. When I married her, I knew that she had some health problems, but I decided that I was going to take it on and look after her until death do us part. Didn't expect it to happen that soon. :(
Appreciate your support and thoughts.

Hi Gina, welcome back to Susan's Place! I'm very sorry about your loss. The memories do stay with us, it seems over time it's the happy times that pop up in our minds the most often. See you around the site, hugs, Devlyn

Welcome back Gina,
I can empathize completely with your loss.
My wife accepted me with total understanding, we lived as sisters, she is my soul partner. Due to an accident she will remain in a nursing home for the rest of her life.
I found that I too had to make the decision and move on and be me full time, it was a difficult decision, but the correct one.
My Love to you
Cindy

Thanks as always for your heartfelt concern for my loses. It was a sad day, but I know that she's in a better place.
Spending time with my therapist and talking with him has really helped me to come to terms with who I am, and having a supportive boyfriend as well really helps. :)
