I've decided im going to get my name changed by deed poll now things are looking up :laugh: im excited todays a great day

Just try and resist the urge to go overboard, hon. It would take some getting used to, to have to call you something like Lord Christopher Daventry-Smythe von Flaagenhoffe. ;)

Congratulations, that's a huge step! I remember how great it felt (I should as it was only last month :laugh:) when I had my name legally changed to Amelia. I'm really happy for you! :)

My advice on a name, try to pick something that can't be short formed and can't look even remotely like the other gender.
You want something that looks good on paper and something that can't be mistaken such as 'oh well they use that name too'.
