Title: Gender Identity?

Hi all! I'm new here, though I've hung around as a guest on occasion after my girlfriend (Stella Lunaris) directed me to this site a few months back.
I'm FAAB. For years now, I've felt like a typical cisgender female label wasn't quite right. It didn't "fit". A majority of the time, I identify as female or femme. I love lace and sparkles and all things pretty and cute. On occasion, I get an intense feeling of being neither male nor female. Certain parts of my body feel wrong and out of place. It's happened for quite some time, and it doesn't seem to be going away or "just a phase". I think if I was cisgender, I wouldn't be questioning my identity so much in the first place. Also, I identify strongly with the lesbian community. It's the first label that has truly ever fit me.
Tonight, I told my girlfriend about these feelings and what's been going on. All I know is that I need a label to help avert all of the confusion and discombobulation. I've been doing some research and soul searching, and in talking to her, we found a few people that talked about being both genderfluid and femme.
I don't want to start any kind of hormone therapy or get any surgeries, though I would like to be able to bind my breasts when I'm not feeling female.
I guess what I'm asking is if genderfluid femme/female is a legitimate gender identity and if it sounds like me, if you can identify as genderfluid and still identify as a lesbian, and what there is in the way of low-cost (and safe) ways to bind my chest.

When it comes to gender identity, you are who you say you are.
Low cost way to bind, try the waist wraps in your local stores fitness area which is often in or next to sporting goods. Works well, cheap and adjustable.
