Pin straight. The wave seen on the bottom there? Hair dryer and a round brush. For like, a half hour.

My hair is straight. I have been putting it in a ponytail, but as of yesterday, I started wearing it down. People seem to like that. :)

Loosely curly.
I've always been a bit jealous of all those girls with straight hair who can have all the latest hairstyles for straight hair and look great.
I have spend SO much time over the years trying to tame my locks, but have learnt there's no point fighting hair destiny... ;)

Straight hair is really not all it's cracked up to be. For example, my hair is IMPOSSIBLE to get to hold a wave or curl. I'd have to get it permed. No other path to take. I've tried every possible way of getting it to curl. My graduation (Grade 8, we dress up like for prom) we couldn't even put my waist length hair into an updo because it would not stay even that curled. We ended up braiding it in french braided pigtails and pinning the pigtails together with jewelled barrettes.

But to me that sounds fantastic! :P
Plus your hair looks great in the pic.

How about "All Of The Above?"
If I don't do anything with it, it's straight at the top, then gets wavy an inch or two later, then loose curls most of the way, and tighter curls at the end.
But I fight it every morning to get it all straight(ish).
OR to get it all curly.
Drives me crazy!

I just have bad hair days.......
If I try and straighten it,it goes curly in the humidity, If I let it dry curly, it goes in all directions and dries me mad.
I end up normally putting it up and wearing it in a clip.

My hair is very wavy. I get that "stylishly messy" look that everyone wants these days without having to really do anything with it.
ROFL

My hair is mix a mix of curls I've not seen ever on anybody, they're the kind of curl people take hours to do. Me, a bit of curling gel, scrunch, diffuser till almost dry, some mousse, tousle... Go to go. 30 minutes from start to finish and it will last 3-5 days, with a curling mousse refresher and tousle on day 2 and 4 (5 min tops per day on the 3 next days).
The hair in my avatar is day 4, almost all the curls are weighted by the 4 days of dirt and crap, still look good though ;)

Wavy if I let it grow long enough. Clipper guard 3 and it's straight.

I would've chosen frizzy and mind of its own ;) if that was an option. Curly will do though...

Sounds like my hair, only mine is too thin to perm. It would burn.

I apparently voted "straight" here a while ago. So, update: it's now partially straight, and partially curly. I think about 40% of my hair has natural curls now, and the rest is still straight, although it has a slight wave to it. I've no idea what made it start curling itself, but I like it.
But it's such a thinned out, damaged mess now so I don't often show it in public anymore, but just stuff it in under a wig instead. So like on my profile pic that's not my real hair, but a wig.

I'm not sure. This is after washing it and letting it air dry. It definitely "relaxes" a lot on it's own after a day or two. It's definitely mostly defined waves, but the very bottom in the back my hair curls. I love that it does this because I don't have to trim my hair to avoid a mullet, my curls naturally blend with the hair and it looks decent. Allison I don't think "decent" is the right word - Your hair looks FANTASTIC!
p.s. Wish the ghosts weren't there I suspect there is a pretty girl underneath that 'break out'... ;)

Mine is wavy. I just wash it, sometimes condition it, and let it air dry. It dries pretty quick, even with it down to my shoulders.

I've never grown my hair out longer than this but so far it seems wavy

Mine used to be relatively tight curls with no work put into it. Now it is naturally more wavy.
My wife started me on the "curly girl" hair regimen, and I can easily get very nice curls with little work again.
I have never been a huge fan of my super curly hair, but that seems to be how every woman is. "The hair is always greener on the other head!"...or something like that.
Hugs,
Lacy

Mine's very curly, born that way. Now that I'm older it's starting to thin out, but in my youth it was a sight to behold. I made $100 one day when a lady asked for it to make a wig.

Well it has been many styles, wavy, then fritzed (kinda like an electrical explosion), frizzy, wavy as it gets longer now.
Really depends on the day though, I think it has a mind of its own.
