Title: Ideal breast size.
Post by: Xhianil on November 06, 2013, 09:16:23 AM
Whats the breast size that you want? Gave ya two votes in case you'er undecided.

My ideal size would be B or C cups, I'm too tall and skinny for much more.

I voted "no breast". ;)

But if I ever get a wife, I'd love for her to have a B cup.  Of course I'd still love her if she didn't though.

I suppose that if you're MtF it would depend on a lot of factors like how tall are you and how wide is your chest to begin with. It makes no sense to be a petite type and want B-52's and believe me I have seen some ridiculously huge implants on MtF's that are bound to draw a lot of unneeded attention and ridicule. Any board certified cosmetic surgeon with ethics will discourage anything that doesn't work well with a person's overall body structure.

Home grown models are best by far because they don't have a shelf life and have to be replaced like implants often times do. But one gets whatever the genetic predisposition allows. My personal feeling about that is that they really aren't as important as we make them and in reality some of the prettiest breasts I've ever seen on cis women were just sufficient enough to fill out the darts in blouses and dresses and not so tiny as to make a woman look "flat as a board" or so large as to make the statement "Look at me I have big tits!"
Breasts aren't what makes the woman and until one makes all the other female attributes a part of the whole package it's best not to come across as a man with boobs. This is from personal experience as I don't qualify and get read the moment I step outside my door each and every day.

I find small breasts to be beautiful, but cis women usually have much smaller and narrower upper torso so that allows As to look great, even when they are tall. I never did any weight training  or athletics so my upper torso isn't as large as it can often be on men my height but it's still a bit larger than the equivalent cis woman so a C or D cup will be my preference to make them stand out a bit more.

Funny thing is, pre-HRT I thought about a C cup and anything bigger was too big... now I'm fighting the temptation to still go with "a cup size bigger than I am." ;)

Of course, since cup size volume varies by band, and so does how big something looks vary by a woman's specific frame - if I could get down to 36 a D would be fine, but since I can't bigger is good!

For me, due to my height, I think C-D is in order, to keep the proportions.

Hmm, I might want a size bigger as well, being 6'3"
I hope genes play a good role in this, because my mother and grandmother were well endowed, and they're no taller than 5'5"
Once again, I'm going to see what E can do for me, and if they're too big/too small, then I'll take action.

C is the size that I've always wanted. Big enough to look like nice-sized boobs, but not so big that they become a hindrance and flop around all over the place.

I'm probably not going to get there, since my mom says that she was a B until after I was born, but whatever, I can dream.

Originally I was thinking a B cup but being 6ft 5 with a band width of 41 I am thinking maybe have to go with a C cup to keep the proportions right, I'll see how it goes.

Everything I've been seeing is that cup size is meaningless without band size...

I voted D/DD because those are ample but not huge in 38"
Maybe I'll go down to a 36" too... still losing weight.

One feature of "ideal" for me would be honest to goodness cleavage.  That level of fullness would feel wonderfully luscious.
Currently I am very happy to have recognizable and real breasts.  Just like a dick, size has less value than sensitivity.  And sensitivity has a lot to do with a loving touch.
Looking down and seeing them real is a dream come true.

I'm a nice C and still filling out. Not bad for fourteen year old girl boobs. By the time they are seventeen year old girls they may look very nice and womanly. My girl friends think I am going to be a DD and I have no complaints. If I only round out or stay the same no worries here. I love my girls and they seem so natural to me. I always knew something was missing. I am big as a bus so they don't look all that right now. That is kind of cool too, since I have a nice surprise for girls that like to share second base. I like to wear certain fashions with my high beams showing. I never get accused of wearing forms or having implants. They are too missile coned warheads right now, but plenty perky. If I had to pay for more than the hormones, I would want them out to here! I will never do implants and will always thank God for what I have. I love them, care for them and the hyper buttons are a spastic treat. My areolas grew from .75" to 2.125" That was a huge surprise to me!

Some while back a well endowed girl friend gave me her hand me down DD bras. I ask what am I to do with these? She replied, "Have fun with them, you never know what wishful thinking will get you!" There are two that fit well except for filling out the cups all the way to the top. Side boned and under wired is really comfortable to me too. Also early on, I ordered some bras from Carol Wright Gifts. One they gave me was a whopping 54F, they sent me a correct replacement and told me to keep it or donate it. One night I could not resist, I filled the cups with rolled up bath towels, it did take two. I put on a nice stretchy sweater and wow did I look different. I spent the evening doing housework and chores. They were a bit of a handicap and a lot lighter than the real deals. That sure was a lot of real estate out front. I'm sure I would never want to be that big. I may wind up a very happy D. Big busty hugs girl friends. Joann

There's a fine line when a woman's breast size is sending the signal that says "I want to be known as the sum total of my boobs!"
Then even B's and C's can get uncomfortably squished at times in bed at night and can become a hilarious spectacle when they have to be held from bouncing up and down while running. The female side of one's brain needs to be engaged over the former male side when thinking in terms of the optimum desirable breast size.

I feel that for me a B-cup is the maximum I'd be comfortable with and I suspect even that would make me overly self-conscious.  AAA through A is actually extremely attractive on a woman to me and I think A would be adequate and practical on my frame.  I'm 6'1" BTW and still don't think extra boobage would be necessary.  Plus I'd rather keep 'em perky.

I'm with Shantel on this. When I was impersonating a guy I never really thought much about the reasons a woman would not want huge breasts, but now that I'm jumping over the gender fence it's become crystal clear to me what a liability they could be. I work in a professional office environment doing software engineering and I don't want to be the running joke/not taken seriously around the office because of breasts that are disproportionate to my body size.

If I had my druthers I would like to have big enough to be nice (Maybe a C?) but not so big that they are the sum total of my existence and my worth as a woman - well proportioned is what I'm hoping for. I'm already drawing a bit of attention from guys when I wear tighter sweaters and I'm only somewhere between an A and a B right now after being on full strength HRT for two months, and low dose HRT for 4 years.

I basically love all breast sizes on pretty much everybody, but for my height and frame a C-cup really helps with filling dresses and tops for a more entirely feminine look. D-cups don't look excessively large on me, just nicely curvy. For now I'd be happy to naturally fill out an A-cupper all the way, though. But hey, we can all be a D-cup with a bit of silicon padding.

This is a nice pleasant topic. Thanks for starting it. For me C or maybe D cups later. I would love for men to notice my nice cleavage.

I think B is a little too small and C is a bit too big.. so.. in-between would be perfect :P. But since breasts are not really our specialism in our family I can be happy if I even get to a B cup x_x.

If I manage a C on HRT then I probably won't upgrade. If I don't, then D cups are in my future.

I probably voted for a C cupper before, but the more I think about it, the more the B cup seems ideal to me. If you're larger than C cup you've eliminate about 90% percent of off the rack womens wear like tops and dresses. More, though, B to C seems like the difference between a woman being seen as a whole woman and being seen as a body. From C cup and up your breasts usually become your visual focal point. That may be money in the bank if you're a stripper or a boat show model, but most of us would prefer to be seen as a whole person-- brain and all. The B cup is prominent enough to express a feminine form, but not so outstanding as to call undue attention to itself.

That said, it's too bad we can't change breast size like we can clothing fashions. Oh, wait, maybe we can (sorta).

Don't worry Sophia, I was on it for six or seven years and only had minnies then suddenly BOOM! We're all different in how things develop.

I voted for C - D cup size.
All the females in my family are that size or bigger.
With my body size and shape they would be just about right.

Lyric : It's a matter of proportion too, though. Broader chest/rib cage = breasts look smaller. (Plus that cup size varies by band size; a 36C is the same cup volume as a 38B, 40A and 34D.)

I'd say a C cup on me was "smallish but noticeable breasts," not eye-catchingly large at all. But I'm a 38-40 band size and not slender...

Ask your doc about drinking soymilk and taking baths in lavender. Eating lots of dairy also helps, I've heard. Being an FTM I wish I'd done none of these things because my boobs are way bigger than they should have been :(

Also, boobs = fat. A lot of my friends in high school wanted bigger boobs but were also constantly dieting. Boobs are made of fat, so gaining some curves will mean gaining some boobs. If all else fails, surgery or push up bras. Though there isn't anything wrong with being an A cup! (I know that's not what you want, but it's true.) Size doesn't matter. If you carry yourself like you think you're the perfect size, no one will be any the wiser and even if you were naked in front of a guy (or girl or nonbinary lover, whatever your preference) you could tell them you were a B or smaller C and they wouldn't be able to tell the difference. It's like guys and penis size. No one is going to sit there and measure you, and believing = seeing. I can't speak for every biological female, but my cup size fluctuates all the time, sort of hovering between A-B-C depending on my weight (which fluctuates between 100 and 115). Also, I've heard that working out your pectorals will raise your breasts and make them look larger that way (which is why I haven't worked out my pectorals and won't do it until I've had top surgery).

You're all beautiful and valuable people no matter what size you wind up. Unless you're going to constantly wear low cut shirts, no one will be able to tell anyway! You can also really control what size you seem to be depending on what bras you choose. I haven't worn a bra in ten years, so I can't help you find the right bra, but I have zero boobage in sports bras and at an less than A cup I looked huge in a push up bra once in high school--- huge to the point that a girl in the locker room actually said "woah, you've got huge boobs. Why have I never noticed?"

Good luck ladies! You're all perfect no matter what size you wind up. We're all rooting for you! :)

Ignoring the comment on the shirt just take note that excessively large boobs, elicit unwanted attention, snarky remarks from other women and sexual remarks from men. Not the kind of environment I would want to create for myself by getting oversized BA.

Mine are currently C cups, but they are spaced widely apart and my chest dips slightly in the middle; so their impact is minimal. I would prefer D or DD to compensate for this such that they at least are in proportion with the bone structure of my chest.

I have the same problem, widely spaced apart, no way to have cleavage the way they are. And I would say that if they get larger, maybe they will fill in the middle area a bit. Or at least create a bit of cleavage with a bra on.

ive seen what i would look like with both D and C size with inserts,  and i already know D would look huge on me imo.  and C is a larger size.    id be happy with a B cup, or possibly a C if i gained some weight. (5'11" @ 130lb)

I did get ftm top surgery a while ago so currently I'm flat. But as my mind would have it, that was not a good decision on my part. So I'm now looking into getting a new pair reconstructed. The upside of that is, I'll get to choose my boob size, within reason of course.

Ideally I'd like something like a D- or DD-cup (so I voted both of those) but I'd be okay with a C if bigger would be difficult for a surgeon to stretch my skin to. I'm average weight and have a kind of small frame, however I have the widest hips and biggest bum ever, so I think a bigger bust would balance that well. Also I have quite wide shoulders so bigger boobs don't look weird on my small ribcage, in my opinion, but rather just right. It might seem very big, but I've really never been much for moderation. I'm a "go big or go home" -kinda gal.

I currently wear breast forms that fit my 32D bras, and that is a size that's mentally comfortable for me. I wouldn't mind slightly bigger, but no way I'm buying new breast forms just for that. And yeah 32 (70 in eu) in band size seems to be what works best for me.

My original boobs were B-cups. In moments when I was not dysphoric about them back then, I did actualy like them but thought they were too small. Pre-transition I often wore them in push-up bras with lots of extra padding, so they looked like C- or D-cups.

I have to agree about the go big or go home thing. I guess that I am a size queen. My goal is at least a D or DD cup to balance everything out. I mean, why not if someone is getting a breast augmentation.

Also, it adds the benefit of still looking good with a bit of a belly. :) I don't want t have to skip too many meals.

I guess I'm a bit of a size queen too then! Yeah exactly, when getting an augmentation I think going with the kinda size you want for yourself should be of priority, and not what your friends, family or strangers online think would be best for you. So yeah, why not.

Get big enough boobs and you won't see the belly when you look down ;) But jokes aside, I get that. Since I got my mastectomy I've been very self-conscious of how big or flat my stomach is too. I know it barely sticks out, but it looks big in comparison to my chest.

SeptagonScars, your situation is different from most girls getting a ba, your whole life has been different with being on T for a few years.  Yes, you will have to see how large you can go with having had top surgery, only a surgeon can give you much information.  With having a 32 chest size, it doesn't take as large an implant to give you larger appearing breasts.  Good luck in getting your ba.  How are you handling the other effects of being of T?

My first boyfriend told me that anything more than a handful was wasted. Mine are 40C and still perky despite my age. Any more would be in the way and require too much care. At my size I can, and usually do, go braless or even topless. My dear wife is 36C. While in the past we could share the same bra, I am now too large around my middle. (Arrgh!) At least we can still share panties!

Thank you. Yeah it's a bit different. The closest to the kind of ba I'll get is, I think, similar to women who've gotten mastectomies for treating/preventing breast cancer and then get new breasts reconstructed. I am being very realistic with the limited knowledge that I have, but also allow myself to dream a little. One of the issues about my chest for a ba is that I'm completely flat so nothing to work with, meaning that going up 4-5 sizes from size 0 might just not be possible. However, I might also get to stretch the skin over time with expanders which might allow me to go slightly bigger than otherwise. Another issue is the scars from my top surgery, since I had double incision. Those scars might not want to stretch as much as the surrounding skin. As for my nipples I don't think they'd be of any issue, although I had them reduced in size and relocated, so maybe they might, I dunno.

Google searching pics of breast reconstruction on women who had mastectomies, it seems that larger than C is rarely created, but I saw a few pics of D-cups. I am also concerned about how and where my top surgery scars will end up on new boobs, which is difficult to visualise. Looking at such pics online has helped me get a more realistic idea of what I could expect for result though. But you're right that only a surgeon would know, so all the info I've gathered about it I take with a grain of salt, until I can get to see a surgeon for a consultation, cause that might take a while. I need to hassle with the gender clinic I go to first, much like as if I'm seeking gender transition again... I've no idea what so ever what a detransitioning process (medically/practically speaking) could look like in my country, and that I won't know until I know.

The other effects of T I mostly handle well, actually. However I'm also really confused about which of its effects I'm okay with now or not okay with. Ideally, I'd like to tweak as little on my body as possibly needed. But I struggle with figuring out if I'd be fine with looking a little "bodily androgynous" also in the long run, or if I do have an emotional need to look more unambiguously female. I see myself as a woman and mostly feminine, regardless of which of my traits I decide change back or keep as is.

Much of where I stand right now, is I'll need to give being off of T much time before I can truly know what I may want to tweak on additionally. Some things will reverse on their own, others will change back just a little, while some stuff will remain. But I think the only things that T caused that I'm having a hard time with now are: high temples/male hairline, that my hair has thinned out greatly (but no pattern balding, just thinner all over, which might not have been caused by the T though), the extra body hair especially on my chest and stomach, my masculine body odour, and excess sweating.

What I'm totally fine with: my deep voice, face changes like wider jaw, bigger hands and feet, my big cl*t (or well yeah, "bottom growth"). And what I'm very uncertain of is I don't know if I like my facial hair or if I hate it. I've lots of social dysphoria about it, but in private I actually kinda like it. So it's a bit of a mixed bag of feelings I have about my T changes, but a lot of them I've no issue with.

How I handle it practically is mostly just shaving. Lots and lots of shaving. Hair growth inhibiting creams too. The most heavy duty deodorants available on the market, for my sweating. Makeup to hide beard shadow for when I'm going out. Trying to style my hair strategically and use extentions, but it hasn't been very successful yet so far. I don't atempt to change my voice at all, just speak the way I normally would, and some say it sounds feminine in tone and deep. I do actually get misgendered sometimes, but it bothers me less and less and I don't tend to correct people unless it's important that I do.

My husband loves my 36Cs. Quite frankly, I wouldn't mind having Ds. Well, with a sports bra, I need D, since mine are a full C. Best yet, they are home grown. I never needed implants, and I won't get implants just to go up one cup size.
