Title: packer suggestions
Post by: notyouraverageguy on November 11, 2013, 02:14:08 PM
I'm looking into getting a new packer, I haven't had a new one in a couple of years so I'm not sure what's out there now.
I been looking at the basic reelmagik, anyone who has it can you give me any input? Is it worth the extra money compared to the sailor or mr limpy?
And is there any good realistic stp packers yet? My stps broke :/ so I gotta get a new one too, just wondering if I could kill two birds with one stone.
Thanks

I don't have any feedback on the rm basic, but as far as an STP goes I have heard great things about the second generation peecock if it's within your price range.

Thanks for the info. I took a look at it, but I'm leaning more towards something made of silicone.

Well I  was too. You can order their stp flexrod by itself and put it into any soft pack you find that suits your needs better. I liked the function of a cheap packer but I want a more realistic silicone packer that could match my skin.Good luck on your search.

Jacob, that's where I got my first stps, but I wanted to try something new and a more safe material.

Thanks dark knight.

Has anyone heard of or tried the model d stp by number one laboratory? I haven't found any reviews on it yet.

I've been review hunting for that as well, if you find any good ones I'd love to hear them! I'm wondering exactly how new this is, since it has so few reviews.

If I remember correctly, I did find one really good review on tumblr, but I can't remember what tag I was looking through- it was specifically for this STP though. I think maybe I searched 'number one laboratory'? If I find it again, I'll definitely post it here.

I ordered the Model D from Number One Laboratory, and though it's not super realistic, it packs well and has a great STP function. If you buy it, you WILL need the slingshot-style harness they provide, but it's not too expensive. The Model D and harness came to about $100 (maybe a couple bucks shy of that, I think), and it's silicone. It's safe and comfortable. Not overly obtrusive, and if you're not looking to stand out, it packs well. No uncomfortable incidents where it looks like there's a hard on or anything. The STP part is fairly self-explanatory, though I'll admit I had an issue with it at first, I was able to master it within a few tries. -My previous STP was homemade, and the Model D is a lot better. I feel more confident with it than I ever had before.
There is an issue with the harness, but it's an easy fix. The adjustable straps are a little too adjustable and can become loose fairly quickly. I just sewed mine in place and the issue was fixed.
This is strictly for packing and STP, not for intimacy. I found a few reviews for it on YouTube, and that's what got me interested in it at first, and I was even more inclined to check it out when I found out how soon I could have it shipped.
After placing the order, I received it discreetly within 7-10 days.
I am very satisfied with this purchase, and I honestly hope what I have to say is beneficial to someone.
It's not as pricey as the Gen2 Peecock (which I was also looking into); it's not a super-realistic prosthetic that is going to take x-amount of time to get; and it's not a simple little medicine spoon and tubing shoved into a basic packer.
For my current needs, this is ideal.
Ever since I got it (x-number of weeks ago), I've been using it all day, every day. I feel very comfortable with it, though I don't suggest running off to the nearest urinal.
If you purchase it, take a day or two at home to practice, as with any STP. Packing is simple enough.
-Sorry for ranting, but I do hope what I have to say has helped someone.

The STP part does not look friendly to me. for the price, it looks very cheap and generic.

I understand. I was worried about that too, and while it does look a bit too generic, it does what I need it to for now.
Maybe I was just sold on the convenience of it. I was looking for an STP/packer for a reasonable price, and I was able to get one without a hassle.
(-If you're looking at the older style model, yeah it's a bit atrocious, really. And even the current model isn't perfect, but it's sufficient and functional.)

Are there better ones on the market in a fair price range?

Not that I can find which is really quite frustrating in itself.

Exactly. I was looking at the Gen2 PeeCock, but for some reason I can't quite place, I never got around to it. I got caught up in the TUP ordeal, and after that, I was just glad to find something hassle-free that worked for me.
If you come across anything fair and functional, let me know.

Aye, someday someone with ability will figure out what is needed and make it possible and affordable.

I had the RM basic packer and let me tell you, it was well worth the money. It ended up paying for itself since my cyberskin packers would need to be replaced so often. Much more comfortable for me too.

Thanks for the review d ray, I do agree with lordkat that it does look cheaply made but that's why I was looking for reviews to hear from someone who's actually tried it. Do you have any pictures of it, or videos using it by any chance?

How's the smell? I've heard weight is a problem, what do you use to pack it? Also which color did you get, and how long did it take to receive the product?
Thanks

Well, the Model D is not realistic, and honestly it's small (though most flaccid penises are). If you're looking for something realistic that will pass, you will have to look elsewhere.
But for me, it's comfortable, is good to pack with, and I enjoy being able to 'go' without sitting down or using the homemade medicine spoon ordeal.
Cheap or not, it seems durable, and I'm temporarily sated. -Though, I'm always looking for something better. Who isn't?
I don't have pics or vids. -It does look generic, but it's not like I'm going to go around flashing people. I just... -Maybe it's just me, but when I'm not at least packing, I'm really self-conscious and uncomfortable. And I don't know how people are able to get along without an STP. -I know there are a couple vids on YouTube of people reviewing it. (Keep in mind that some reviews are the old style before it had balls, and even that was positive review.) I did find one of the STP in use.

For me, it's just convenient.
I know RM has some of the better products on the market (from what I hear, anyways), and maybe I'll look into it when I have the extra cash, but I'm likely to get a Gen2 PeeCock first.
My main concerns are STP and longterm comfort.

The big problems with RM packer is the weight and no STP. I know someone who made an STP from one, but it is silicone which si tricky to work with, vs cyberskin.

I think the looks are very good, for a packer. I like the 3d balls which few of them have. I think the smell is less than the cyberskin, but more so than a prosthetic. I am sensitive to smells and didn't think it was a problem. I got it before they came out in 5 colors, and I don't know if they are the same now. I used to pack with a "sock" but you could use a jockstrap maybe. It took awhile to get it, I think I actually got the first shipping of them. I don't know if they ship faster than they used to, maybe a month or two? I have a review of them here which you might find if you search. KaydenTransGuy (on youtube) does a video review which is also good. I think we both have the lightest one but again, don't know if they changed the colors. I think we got ours about the same time.
