So my boyfriend, of over a year, told me that 90 percent of the time he feels like a woman but he is still only attracted to women. He plans on waxing off his body hair and plans to grow out his hair. He is not taking any type of hormones or is undergoing any type of surgery so he will still be a man. He came out to his close friends as well. I just feel confused as to my sexual orientation right now. I am completely and madly in love with him and as shocking as this news is, it doesn't make me think of him any differently. I'm just extremely confused and there's no one I can talk about this with.
I am 100 percent straight so the fact that he feels like a woman is a little strange to me sexually. Any advice or words of wisdom from anyone?

My wife told me she fell in love with a person, not a gender.
Once you've come out as trans, you are queerer than queer, so we got over that "holy crap, we're gay" stuff pretty fast. It's really not a big deal.

I am a cis woman who is in a relationship with a FTM..however i use to identify as a lesbian..we have been together for 4years now and I admire him so much for everything he has gone through to find his happiness, my boyfriend has been on Testosterone for 3months now and will be having the surgeries soon. I still love him just as much if not more then I did on day 1 and our relationship has gotten so much stronger since he is more comfortable with himself. It can be confusing at first but just remember as confusing as it is for you its confusing and scary for him too. As a significant other of a transgender person all I can really tell you is to love and support him.. If you are open to going to doctor appointments with him and psychology appointments then that will help yalls relationship so much.. not only will you learn about what it means for someone who is transgender to go through all of this but ull be able to connect with him more.. As human beings we are constantly changing and growing but its important to find that person who you can grow with. Your more then welcome to send me a private message if you need someone to talk to.
