Susan's Place Transgender Resources

So, my name is Hunter, and I was born biologically male. I want to start the transition process in a couple months, but there's no local support centers nearby.
So, a bit about myself. I'm attracted to women, and identify(not in public yet) as female. Basically my whole life I've needed to "pretend" to be male, even though I'd daydream about being a girl, or sneak away with my cousin's bras.

Until about 4 year ago, gender reassignment was something I've never heard of, and in the last two years, I've thought more and more about it, sort of fighting it. About a year ago, I accepted it, and started doing more serious research, but I just don't know where to begin. There's so much information it's just hard to follow.

I recently told my best friend and roommate that I'm trans, and he accepted it without a beat, so I think now's a good time to seriously look in to this.
