I want to add a simple hyperlink in my signature, I tried the usual HTML code (A=href) and that didn't work.
I'm talking about a hyperlink where it says e.g. "My Blog" and by clicking on it, it redirects you to that address. If I do [ URL ] html link [ / URL ] Wouldn't that just highlight the entire link and not allow me to make it shorter/simpler?

Between the [ url ][ /url ] put an = after url in the first set of brackets.
After the equal sign put in the web address. No spaces.
(spaces here to illustrate):
[ url = www.susans.org ] susans [ / url ]
After the equal sign put in the web address. No spaces.

[ url = www.susans.org ] susans [ / url ]
