That's what I've been told that they need to do on me plus the bloodwork before deciding if they start it or not... Not knowing I am already on it.
There is no history of osteoporosis in my family, and seein how many hits I have taken and I am still alive. Is this the norm prior starting treatment?
Edit: Post #1500. Why did I never notice the #1000?

It might be determined depending on your age, or it could just be the doctor's call.

I just had a bone density test and a mammogram no big deal passed both just fine and I am almost 64.You should not have a problem and it gives your doctor a baseline to work from which is why my tests were done besides I am kinda old!

They have booked me for additional tests:
- Karyotype
- Impedance
For february, which would also be my next endo appointment.

I would love to have my karyotype done but don't think I can convince the VA to do it ,no matter my HRT is in the mail and I should have it soon. Pat
