I have done a great deal of lurking here and a fair bit of posting and I have noticed a pattern. Gals on this forum talk a lot about breasts. If someone posts a thread like, "I Started HRT Today!", they will get replies, sure... positive replies... quite a few in fact.

But, what really gets women talking in here? Breast threads. It does not matter if it is the 15,000th, "My Nipples HURT!" or, "My Bewbs Ache!" or, "How Big Will They Get?" or, "When Will They Start?" thread... people chime in and opine.

In the spirit of those threads, I pose a question that is not asked as often: What is up with erogenous nipple/breast sensitivity? How does that work?

I ask this as I patiently yet anxiously wait for the pain to begin, the buds to form, the chest pain to cycle. I am new enough to HRT that little to nothing has started... well, my headlights are on 95% of the time instead of 1% of the time. Things are a BIT more sensitive there.

So, I ask about the FUN part of nipples/breasts... since we seem fixated on that particular region in here, but we tend to dwell on the negative (pain) and the positive (growth) but not yet, the fun (Weeee!).

Help a baby sister out. I still remember too well, my nipples being only slightly more sensitive than most any other part of my body. I know I am moving towards something new, but I want to know what I get to look forward to besides pain and aches.

Guys just don't usually get much sensitivity (pleasurable or otherwise) in their nipples and women usually do, maybe it's an evolutionary development. After I stopped my first transition the nipple sensitivity and the pleasure that could be attained from them remained. Small solace I suppose. Going into my second transition though they have generally become so sensitive I've kind of lost interest in them from that point of view. At least for the moment!

Clearly evolution wishes to encourage breast feeding for some bizarre reason.

I understand how describing sensations that somebody else has not experienced can be like describing swimming to someone who has not been in the water... but if most can describe the pain/ache/itch, why does the pleasure part go quite undefined?

I remember way back when, when I used to watch television shows or otherwise absent-mindedly, and fondle my man-bits...it was relaxing, felt good (but not in an orgasm-inducing way) and kept my hands occupied.

Nowadays I don't handle the lower bits, but the chest mounds I do...and it's just like fondling before, feels good, it's relaxing, and can (if done with intent and purpose + mood) induce an orgasm.

But mostly it's just a relaxation thing.

Well the thing with cis-women and nipples is probably related to breast-feeding and oxytocin release. I just read about it for an assignment lol.

Also, my wife and I have confirmed, I am getting boobs. They extend 4 millimeters around my nipple right now. Humorously tiny. But they have been discovered tonight. Pain is minimal. Sensitivity is slight.

I mean, BABY buds. 8 days in. But these are not my old nipples. No pain yet either, yay! OMG though! They're alive!

Enjoy it as it only get better with time, 8 weeks on E so far and breast buds formed.

My sensitivity has only increased to the point touching them is well  ;D

Mine ache from the growth a little bit but not that bad.

Honestly, the first thing that came to mind was this: for a GG, the first major sign of puberty tends to be menarch, with a few showing breasts first.

For us, all we have is the latter.

So, our great big "I got it!" message for the world comes when we get an achey chest.

With my perky nips...my baby girls... they are now, officially undeniable, as if my making this thread made them speak out. They have been perky for days but the last few hours? Fuhgeddaboudit! This is something new and awesome! So happy I made this thread. So are my baby girls, it seems! It is beyond my guy nips being cold. They have been saluting everyone but me for a few days. This is something new and more emphatic. I gave them some coconut oil so that may help relieve the pain... so awesome though! They are awake! 8 days after my first shot! Just when I had resigned to wait for my next...

Honestly folks, I got breast buds tonight. I noticed them after making this thread. They are not too sensitive or painful, yet they will not go away and they are fare more erect than my... well, yuh know?

I am not a religious person. This experience is cool, awesome and odd. If I were religious, I would take it as a sign... likely.

Luckily, I am not. I am 1 week into HRT, I made this thread, and now my perky nipples are officially erect. No pain yet. No ache. No itch.

A religious person would say I asked God to make it so.

I would reply, "Jenny told me about coconut oil, so I tried it and I gave some to my nipples... and within an hour or two..."

Ladies, it worked. Fast. Buy it. Look it up. Find out why. Coconut oil!!! Organic. Extra virgin. Try cooking with it too!!!

Seriously, Your body will need some time readjusting its reflexes and safety switches. Meanwhile, expect to bump into doors, bookshelves and other pieces of furniture. I even managed to bump them against my own hip/knee when squatting... Ever wondered why teenage girls keep books/file pads in front of their chest while scurrying around? Mine never go erect unless it's cold. Mostly they just sit there being giant areolae. But they do feel nice, especially when introduced to magic (wands). :embarrassed:

So, like many here, I went through the itching and pain, and well, after 2 years on HRT, the itching still comes every now and then.

I am now more than a B but not quiet a C....still happy with what I have.

A few weeks ago I was making breakfast on Saturday morning when my significant one come from behind and embraced me. I was wearing a thin nylon nightie. My love-one hands went from my hips to my breast...ever so gentle...and as my love-one hungry hands caressed my breasts...for a moment I almost fainted into the floor...I found hard to breath... I....

This was a totally novel feeling never experienced before  ...I was left with a thirst for more...yeah, I am very slutty...LOL

It took mine about 4 months to really start showing...some people wait a couple years before The Girls start showing. (And of course, some see nothing until BA).

Just a note from the other side. Things like this used to instill a deep feeling of self loathing and hate, among any other bad emotions. To me it is more triggering than any post so far with or without a trigger warning.

That does not mean you should add one or stop posting. I could have skipped it.

I think I was a bit too giddy last night to properly explain my nipple situation.

Jenny sold me on coconut oil, so I bought some yesterday. Her skin is so great, I just had to try it. Coconut oil smells SO nice. Just like the freshest fruit, not like tropical scented BS. So, I put some on my face and arms, then I made this thread. As I waited for replies, I decided to put some on my nipples and areolae... within an hour or two, the dry, male texture softened... like a good lip balm on chapped lips. This didn't cause my buds to grow, but the softening of the outer layers of skin allowed me to confirm that I was more than just perky. Something was happening behind them. Something small. Hard to notice until the outer skin softened.

It was a thrilling moment. Until then, the only confirmed differences I could list were due to Spiro. That was the first time I knew E was working. It was compounded by being noticed right after making this thread. Kinda' awesome and cathartic after all these years of waiting.

I have felt no pain yet, and sensitivity, while increased, is nothing compared to what others here have described. I do think I will stick with the oil though. My nipples and areolae are 10x softer today than they were yesterday. They feel female to the touch. I imagine softer skin may reduce growing pains, and won't impede growth... this is just a hunch.

As for coconut oil, I can honestly say my face looks younger after one day. Other oils have helped me before, but I really like this one and intend to use it for a while. Besides, it smells and tastes great. I like knowing it is edible. Next, I will try it as a lip balm.

Yeah coconut oil is supposed to be one of those miracle substances that can be used as a clean energy source, to end world hunger, and to cure AIDS. xD So far I've only used some on my legs to try and help clear up my keratosis, but I haven't used it enough yet to see results. Seems like I'd probably benefit from slathering all over mah bod though, lol.

Yeah. I think the main thing about coconut oil is how cheap it is to buy in bulk and how nice and fragrant it is. I can buy pounds of it for less than I would spend on a small container of beauty oil. That makes it easier to use on the whole body.

So far, I don't think it is exactly better than other body oils. It provides deep skin moisturization. Plenty of other oils do that. But at the price you can use it all over without guilt and you won't worry about running out any time soon.

Old Auntie Shan will have to share something with you young ladies, so stay with me here.

Licensed Massage Therapists will tell you that massage promotes blood flow through damaged or traumatized tissues to promote healing. Let's take that idea a step further and consider how hormones are carried throughout one's vascular system via blood flow. If we want to promote greater blood flow to specific areas to bring the goods to hormone receptors then it's reasonable to assume that a little massaging with a vibrator that is intended for that purpose makes a lot of sense.

I have done that 4 or 5 times a day for about a minute each over the last few years and find that it has helped considerably, in fact they get hard and swell up noticeably for awhile afterward which tells me that it's working. Prior to having done that I had "minnies" as I have said in other threads.

We need not assume that just because we are on feminizing HRT that everything will happen just as it does for cis females, sometimes a little prompting goes a long way to promote better results.

As an MTF, that is a sensitivity description I can very much relate to without HRT  :). Is this unusual?

Yes, yes it is. But it is not unheard of.

HRT takes stinking time. Ask around. The cool thing is we get to choose weather or not we wish to keep taking it.

My nipples were blah! Less sensate than my lips. Then I started HRT. Now they have slightly more sensitivity than my lips. And they are hard as rocks.

I intend for this thread to become my newb bewb journal.

My nipples have grown, yet my Right is stunted a bit, due to skin, I guess. They have perhaps doubled in size. That does not mean 3mm to 6mm. More like 3 to 4. The VOLUME has increased.

Auntie Shan's advice is not lost on me. In fact, it is time to shop for my new best friend. My wife has (at least) one. Until then though, and before they become too hurty, a good revolving pinch will do. Ladies? Remember when you could give them a REAL pinch? I still can. I suspect that superpower may fade.

At 12 weeks mine are still only sensitive to pain. If they touch anything rougher than cotton, it feels like sand paper. But when I try to play with them they mostly feel numb. And after about a minute of rubbing they suddenly go "thanks for the warmth, we're gonna deflate now" :)

I first tried coconut oil for this exact purpose... While I've continued to use it daily, can't say it helps as much as HRT and a good ex foliating routine has, but it's still nice. I hoping that HRT will make me hairless on my upper legs, which I hope will solve the whole keratosis issue...

But yeah, ex foliate daily prior to coconut oil if you don't already.

Mine never really hurt, but they did s**t me when they were growing but if touched right, almost from day 1 I could get in the mood.

For myself. HRT for 3 months, spiro & E patches. My nipples tingle sometimes & maybe breasts are larger some however no real growth yet.

Maybe I will receive 2 nice Christmas presents?

I was the same way, I'd read the FTM section just to see what it was that they "saw" that was so exciting...yes, at times it was triggering, but I was still curious, and eventually it actually started to heal some of the hurt.

For me, anyways. (And I don't think I ever thanked the guys for this...thanks, guys!  :) )

It's not too triggering for me. They're in a different place and doing different things... but I don't frequent the FTM forums (except sometimes accidentally - since I mostly read through the new/updated topics links). I get triggered by cis women's social situations, mostly.

I haven't noticed my nipples being more sensitive to pleasure at all. Nearly 3 years of hrt, they changed shape, texture and size but, they don't feel any different.

LOL... One I nearly forgot about until I was reminded of it this morning is that the headlights tend to come on every time I cough or sneeze

every1 on this thread is kinda scaring me i havnt started hrt and im a way off i think but my boobs size 36c that started to develop at the age of 10 are sensitive now so when i start hrt how sensitve are they going to be

3 months of HRT, Nipples sensitivity comes & goes. Nothing for a week, then bam, they burn & itch. ????

  Okay, it feels weird quoting myself but it seems talking about it actually did something this time - For the past couple days I've had a very slight but continuous pain in my nipples.  At first I thought I must be imagining things but it appears to be for real.  This started about 12 days after beginning estrogen.  No visible changes yet but you can bet I'm paying close attention!

the major change HRT made for me is, my brain is now made of potpourri and when I pee there's glitter in it.

theres few thing that have caused it 1. gynecomastia 2. before coming out transsexual i done what alot of us try and and make our selves more male and i done that at the gym working out so i have pectoral muscle underneath my breast tissue  3. im not fat but i do carry some extra weight  ;)
so my boobs may shrink when i start hrt (beacuse of the muscle i have?) before they get bigger that if they do actually get bigger

My nipples have burned all day long. It feels good however usually it comes & goes however today they are so sensitive. It hurts to even tough them. Guess I'm OK & it's normal but they sure burn.
