Title: is it possible to get slight facial changes after 6 weeks
Post by: evecrook on November 24, 2013, 12:58:54 PM
I've notice walking around my neighborhood that people in the shops that I've Known for a while are giving me curious looks. Like looking at my face a little longer than you'd expect. It could just be wishful thinking though. of course  I have plucked my eye brows pretty thin, so maybe its just that. It does seem a little weird though when I look in the mirror especially if I have make up on ,It  has more of a feminine tone around the edges. Then again it could be just too many years waiting for this moment

Yes, your face will change a bit on HRT, but I believe just six weeks is not enough to get big changes. Actually, HRT will do very little about facial features, because they are more related to your bone structure, the shape of your nose, jaw, brow, etc.

It will definately round your face a bit (this change may take more time), give your eyes a more open feminine looking and your skin will get less oily, softer and whiter.

I think the strange looks may be more related to the eyebrow plucking (I'm assuming you are still passing as a man, because it is really ununsual to see a man caring about eyebrows!) I believe that two main things can give your face a very feminine looking: long feminine hair and thin arched eyebrows!
