I just realised this morning I've been taking the wrong little pills. When I saw my Endo a month ago he gave me a sub dermal implant and told me I could stop most of the oral Es but to keep taking Provera. Problem is I'm a bit dyslexic and can get words muddled if they sound the same or partially the same, so I thought he said to keep taking Progynova. I knew I was confused about which was which and even checked the script he gave me and somehow I still got it mixed up. Since I still had a full pack of the Progynova I decided to keep taking that until it ran out which it did this morning. When I got the new script out imagine my surprise when I realised my mistake. The strength of the Provera which I should have been taking was a full 40% stronger too so that was a bit depressing. I feel like a total idiot, accidents happen I know but with this stuff it can have bad consequences. Hopefully everything will be OK, will check with my Endo today.

Well the Endo didn't seem too concerned and doesn't need me to see him any earlier so that's good at least!

You are not alone. I think we all have at one time or another. My brain read 1 every eight hours on an anti-biotic. The label really said 2 every 8 hours. I wondered why the infection wasn't going away! I fixed the problem and now all meds are put into a cool week long, day to day and hour marked compartmented tray. I suppose this crazy and fast society we live in had a little to do with it.  :)

Glad all seems OK and only user error.
Can't say I've had issue like this.

Now tell me again about the water quality in Sydney? Does it really cause dementia? Mmmmmm

My friend was given the wrong concentration of T (half as potent as he was supposed to get). I always read the labeling because I'm just that kind of guy, but he just kept right on injecting without noticing that the scrip had changed. It went on for a long time. There were other problematic factors in his life, I guess, but getting half the prescribed dose really messed him up because he is bipolar.

That would have been a major bummer, especially when he realised. Presumably there was a reduction in masculinising effects on his body too which would have made him feel pretty bad.

I have to say I feel better now I'm taking what the endo had prescribed. I can't put my finger on it, but there was a whole raft of little things that didn't quite feel right on the wrong med. "Well, derr" you might say, but given the right and not right meds are both female hormones it's interesting to see how much better one agrees with me and what I'm hoping for development wise.
