Title: Low Cost Surgeon
Post by: NYCTSGirl01 on December 04, 2013, 01:47:52 PM
Hi All,
I would like to have SRS but I can't really afford it. I decided to finance it. Saving for it is not an option.

Can you recommend a surgeon one of the low cost surgeons.

Thank you!

We have had a couple of very bad, harrowing tales, concerning low cost SRS.

I really think you get what you pay for.

If you are from the states you will be able to find states and insurance companies now with this new ACA that cover SRS if you are willing to do the leg work and maybe move?

i see Dr Reed in miami is listed on there site as:
" Fee on an outpatient basis at our Florida state registered office facility to include one overnight stay: $14,500. "

Dr Brassard in Montreal i think is still around 19,000 canada$ and that is for everything from pick up and drop off at airport if needed, hospital stay and a week of 24 hr care by staff, dilators and meals.

Dr McGinn i found this
"The cost for Vaginoplasty is $19,500 USD, $2,500 USD deposit is due when a surgery date is scheduled (deposit is non-refundable). This price includes the hospital stay, operating room fees, anesthesia fees, and dilators"
Dr Bowers i think is around the same cost as McGinn, You need to see what is all included with there cost and what might cost you extra.

Thailand i see some are around 6,000 but you need to get there and pay for 1 month of hotel stay so not sure how much you might save?

There are others and you need to see what travel will cost and maybe someone closer will be a better value.

Chettawut is almost $14k. 4 star hotel they use with a huge breakfast delivered to your room (for free) for less than $60 USD a night. They drive you where you need to go al included in the price. Really nice private recovery rooms with everything.

Hello  NYCTSGirl01,

You say  "I would like to have SRS but I can't really afford it." then you say to take a loan, hope you can pay that off!
Would start to put aside the monthly payments anyway, so you get used to them also don,t take the max you can afford !
And remember the end result is depended on time/money,and you have to walk around the rest off your life with it.
Better to wait ,what is hard, then get more grief if things do not work out as wanted.

Like any surgery, don't go for cheap, or you will likely regret it for the rest of your life. Dr Chet and Dr Suporn are two relatively less expensive Thai surgeons who do world-beating surgery. There seem to be some low cost thai surgeons that will, however, ruin you, based on some posts here. Please be careful.
