Title: I've lost half a stone! (7lbs)
Post by: Joe. on December 04, 2013, 05:36:46 PM
This is major news for me. In almost 2 weeks I have lost half a stone. I've started eating at regular meal times and have no time for snacking during the day. Also doing a lot of walking has helped. I'm really shocked but really pleased too; I'm hoping to lose some more. I'm really really proud of myself and wanted to share.

Tehe I had to google to find out a stone was about 14 pounds. When I first saw the topic I was like, oh no he's lost his pet rock.  :P

Anywho, congrats on your recent weight loss!

Haha sorry, I didn't think about the differences in terms, I'll change it now. The pet rock thing made me think of this though (https://www.susans.org/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.loadingartist.com%2Fcomics%2F2011-10-17-pet-rock.png&hash=86bb005434636ae45af2298d36d8d6b028d7c629) hahaha

Thank you!  ;D

Good for you! And I knew what a stone was immediately :)

Back in college I used to 11'8"lol

In the past 10months I've lost a stone and a half and hope to be under 13' by the end of the year.

Yay for that, and for me knowing how much a stone is as well. It's not just weight, either, healthy eating habits and exercise help you live better. Hugs, Devlyn
