Title: Reel magik tab question.
Post by: Darrin Scott on December 06, 2013, 12:11:53 PM
I'm getting top surgery in a month and a half and afterwards I was thinking of ordering a reel magik advanced prosthetic as an alternative to bottom surgery for the time being. My question is, is the tab always visible even with the hair? Does anyone who has one have experience with this? I don't want to throw down $800+ dollars if the tab is super visible. I know the website pics look almost seamless, but I've seen some real life pics that didn't look so great. Any opinions? Thanks!

Hi Darrin.
Yes you can see the tab. When you first get it, the hair sticks out like in the photos so it's less obvious. However, over time, with glue and friction the hair does sort of matt down, and lays against the tab. This means you can see the edge of the tab, but it's not like super obvious. There is a line, but I think if you have a particularly hair stomach it wouldn't be a problem. Plus presumably the person who'll be seeing it knows your situation. For the sake of a quick flash in the mens changing room I think it would be absolutely fine, no ones really looking. But yes you can see the tab.
