Title: buying skirts and dresses online for 10 dollars or less

I was just wondering about the quality of those online dresses you can get for under 10 dollars.

I bought this dress from Old Navy on sale for $10. :) They had lots of them. I had already bought three pairs of Rockstar skinny jeans and a sweater, and since I do not yet wear dresses in public, I just got the one.
The quality is very good. It need to be shortened a little; I'm hitching it up in the photo. The tricky part about buying on line is figuring out your size. The first pair of jeans I bought were a bit too large, but still wearable. I went down two sizes on the next one, which is super tight, but they look great.
I got a tape measure out before I ordered the dress. ;)

I wouldn't hesitate buying more cheap dresses on sale. If I don't like them, I'll return them.

I bought it in 2005, and it became my wife's after 2008. I did not complain at all. It still looks pretty.

By and large, women's clothing is nearly disposable so, you'll probably get something not-bad for $10. That said, you can probably head down to the local fashion discounter (Marshalls, TJMax, etc) and get the same deal while being able to try the stuff on IRL.

hi,
i have purchased from a couple of on line sites (venus and delias) the blouses are a bit thin but i really the sweaters and jeans for the price, the dress i will be fine for warmer months but is a bit to light for our winter weather, just got from kohls and macy's at the mall much more expensive but you do get your merchandise straight away compared to waiting for shipping.

H&M and Old Navy are two places that I love purchasing inexpensive skirts/dresses of decent quality (: I highly recommend them both!
