What do you gals think? Worth it or should I just do some squats in the gym?

Natural solutions are usually going to be better than surgical where possible. Although wouldn't exercise give you a muscular butt instead of a generally more feminine one? I'd also suggest that you wait and see what effect the HRT has, female hormones tend to move the padding to the butt and thighs like nothing else.

Personally, I'm opposed simply because you can feel them when you sit down.
Fat grafting aka a Brazilian Butt Lift is better because it looks and feels natural and also gets ride of fat in unwanted places. Also there's always padded undies with the silicone gel inserts. They aren't real but they'll give you the same shape under clothes that'll make you look great.

Serena, you have an awesome personality, an attractive body, and a pretty face. I don't think that anyone is going to pay attention to your b*tt size except you. If you really feel you need it, though, I'm voting with everyone else against the surgical option. Too many potential complications.

I had lipo around my waist and some of the removed fat from my waist was injected in my butt. What did I think? Crap I really don't know. I guess it worked......

Some cis women say certain foods go straight to their butt, chocolate maybe? Maybe some foods would do the trick.
I've seen some unfortunate cis women who have massive behinds even though the rest of them is reasonably correct weight, I guess that's just where their bodies store fat...you can't do anything much about genetics.

Just remember most implants are only good for 10 years or so.
It would be better to do exercises that build up the gluteus maximus.

You wouldn't believe how much of a benefit squatting has. Try doing a 30 day challenge and seeing the difference.

I've pretty much just started this one: http://thedomesticprincess.net/2013/06/12/squat-until-youre-hot-30-day-squat-challenge/
You basically start off with something easy and gradually push yourself harder and harder. Some of those later numbers are pretty daunting, but you can break them up into different parts of the day. Make sure you're doing it right though, there's a video in the 'tips' part showing you how to do it right.
It also apparently helps to slim down your thighs :D

Pretty sure that's not the same woman...
As with any exercise, squatting can firm up and tone the buttocks, but a curvy butt is genetics. Plenty of cis girls don't have them. I didn't. (And those that do often lose them in middle age when weight starts to shift around the middle).

Nah, not for years and years, at 18 months HT I have grown an inch of fat back there. Who knows what my long term butt-size trajectory will be. Butt, ;) I am personally not going to change a thing till later, still slowly growing up top too, ditto on that.

Very true, but whatever you can get helps. Plus I can never discourage exercise.
Anyway, butt implants - nah. Can't imagine it'll be worth the money long term.

I have been looking into this for quit some time. And in reference to before and after bum picture above would just never happen. You can work out and diet to your hearts content but you won't achieve anything near that. no matter what you do. Trust me I have tried, and I know how to work out like mad. Someone always suggests on these treads that ,"you just need to do more squats". It helps, but not much. In reality your arse just gets harder lol. You'll get a bit of help from HRT but again nothing like what you are looking for.
So the option is BBL (Brazilian Bun Lift) where they take your own fat put it from where you don't want it and inject it wear you do want it. The only problem is you have to have enough fat to make a difference. And depending on the person, you will absorb 40% of the new repispributed fat. So if you are skinny like me, BBL isnt an effective option. Surgeons tell me they would give me bum implants and lipo me a bit and inject it into my hip area for a more hourglass figure. Bum implants aren't easy but if you do axactly what your doctor tells you, you should have no complications. I have had friends (genitic women) that have had it done without serious complications. Though it wasn't easy.

As the owner of a large behind :P I must say that there are pros and cons when it comes to clothes shopping, the attention (bad/good).
However, I wouldn't recommend anything that didn't fit your body's natural shape. Implants on the behind can look as out of place as the ones in the front imho.
In short, you're lovely and I don't think you need to change a thing. ;D
