Title: Christmas Greetings
Post by: Cindy on December 20, 2013, 12:35:16 AM
Well Christmas is almost upon us.

I hope all members have time and opportunity to spend some time with family and friends and that you are loved and accepted as you should all be.

To those of you for whom this is a spiritual time may you rejoice in your belief and welcome the celebration of the Birth of your Saviour.

For many it will be a time of sorrow and of loneliness; you are not alone: the site will be open and I and other Mods will be available to talk.

If you suffer distress the suicide help numbers are listed, please use them if needed.

If anyone feels that they may struggle and wish to have my phone number, ask and I will give it to you, of course I run on Australian time but I am here for anyone who feels they may need to talk.

May you all have a Happy Christmas.

Love

Cindy

And Happy Winter Solstice to the pagan and or non-religious folks!

I was hoping we would have a white Christmas. But it warmed up, rained and melted the snow.

Thanks for the offer, Cindy. It sure is nice to have so many people offering support in what is normally seen as a joyous time, but often can be horrific and stressful for others.
I'll try my best to get through, but I may take you up on that open PM box, or chatbox on facebook, if I need it. Thank you.

Thank you Cindy.  And a very Merry Christmas to you as well.  Things are going quite well for me so thank god I will not need to take you up on your offer, but it is nice to know that you are there for us.  This site in general has meant so much to me over the years and for many others I'm sure.  I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday.

Merry Christmas!!

It's a tough time of year... but let's try to remember that it's not about have and have not. It's not about presents and desires for stuff...

My Christmas will be about being happy with family despite how they might feel about me.

Thank you, Cindy, and I will be around the site through the holidays as well. I wouldn't want to miss the off-colour holiday songs we usually come up with, now would I? Hugs, Devlyn
