Title: Androcur oral times?
Post by: Apples Mk.II on December 28, 2013, 11:36:13 AM
Looks like the endo forgot to tell me something. Not speaking about at which dosage I am now, what I can tell is that I will have all my daily AA condensed into one single pill. One each 24 hours, as the paper says. What I don't know is... When.

Previously with espiro my dosages were split and taken after the main foods of the day. With only one pill, one person recommended me to take it at night. It does not seem as a bad idea, since in the mornings I already have the avodart along with the estradiol, and that would mean adittional liver work... Yet now I have to take again more night pills for the knee's cartilague, so pretty much I'm in the same situation at both morning and night.

So, what's your opinion? I won't be seeing him until february, but I was planning on having my dosage in the mornings (Avodart + AA + E), and do it as soon as they finish drawing blood at the hospital's cafeteria, and hope I am back in my "estrogen mood" by New Year's Eve (12 hours, so I doubt it will be that quick).

My endocrinologist told me it doesnt matter what time I take the pill as long it is the same time every day...

I always took mine in the evening.  That way any side effects could be minimized.

I always take mine in the morning! So I think you have a clear answer -it doesn't matter!

OK then. Because I'm so freaking desperare at this time that as soon as I am finished with the blood work I'm having breakfast with 'mines.

Breakfast that I will probably need. It's not a blood donation, but this time it will be five vials. They are even testing me for AIDS and syphilis.

If I was a normal person with a normal sex life I would understand it, but If I had been infected the last time I had sex, I should be dead by now.
