Title: Odd Skin Stuff

HRT has almost eliminated my facial acne, softened my skin and heightened my sense of touch. YAY!!!
But I am also getting 4-5 little leg zits per day. They do not seem to be ingrown hairs, as I have not shaved them in months, and they are not as red or large as ingrown hairs, also the whiteheads are slightly larger than ingrown hairs, and seem to form at the same time as the zit.
Anybody have a clue what is happening? I know my skin is changing, and the difference in oil alone may be the cause. Anybody share my experience?
Thanks
Tori

Are you drinking enough water?

Always a struggle. Probably not.
I am also a complete newb when it comes to female skin care. Any advice or resources are quite welcome.
I do struggle though, to stay hydrated. Would that cause leg zits?

Any sort of dehydration can cause psoriasis so, I'd start there. If you're on HRT, you need a LOT of water because of the Spiro (which is a diuretic).
Other things to do:
Other considerations: what are you wearing on your legs during the day?
Other things to do:
- get a humidifier for your bedroom.
- apply a good lotion (lubriderm works best for me) immediately after showering and really rub it in well BEFORE TOWELING OFF
- use a washcloth instead of a shower scruby thing
- use a bar soap instead of shower gel and only use a very little bit of it on your washcloth
- use the washcloth with the shower off and rinse after you're done
- exfoliate with abrasive gloves once every two weeks, go lightly(can be found in the grocery store or the drug store)

Cool!
Usually I wear loose fitting shorts and, yup, the zits are mostly above the fabric line.

Exfoliation is a good idea. Most zits/whiteheads are caused by bacteria in clogged pores.

I really am a lackluster girl. I have never exfoliated. I need to get to work.
