Title: Appt. with my therapist

I had an appt. with my reg. therapist. I came out to her that I was transgendered. It turns out she has and is currently treating transgendered persons. I feel like a weight has been lifted off me. She is a great therapist that I trust. So aside from it being like 5 degrees out today was a great day.

Great news Lydia! :D First step is often the hardest and scariest but you've done it now, congrats!

Glad you had a good experience. My therapist wanted to know if I was doing this to f$&@ "other men".
He is no longer my therapist.
Gender therapist in three days. :)

Third straight visit with my therapist today. I can't tell you how much I look forward to them. At the moment she is the only person I have told I'm transgendered. I flat out asked her today "if I asked you today for a letter for an endocrine doc what would you say". She told me she would write it and thought that transitioning would be health and fulfilling for me. I can't tell you how happy I am right now :).

Brilliant! She sounds very supportive, and it also seems that you are finding a lot of value in talking to her about your issues. :)

Hi Grace. I can't tell you how much I look forward to those appts. She is the only person I have to talk to. So you are correct I'm getting a lot out of our weekly talks.

Thx Jessica. I got lucky she was already my therapist. I'm having a hard time finding someone in area for MtF hair removal. I'm guessing that I'm going to have to contact them and just ask. Was hoping for recommendation and skip that awkwardness. Oh well not a big deal.
