Can anyone give me some first time makeup tips and good ways to remove it?
Im thinking of starting to learn to apply makeup so when i start my transition it will be a bit easier.
As of now, i cant let my parents know but id like to start somewhere and look fabulous doing it.
My only experience is back when i was a preteen. I only remember trying masquera and i removed it very badly and got caught.
So any tips would be helpful.

What about ways to remove it quickly?

You'll need a makeup remover. Soap and water just won't do it.

I use an oil-based one and it's very good. You massage the oil into the makeup for a few minutes then when you rinse it off in the shower it takes all the makeup (including mascara) with it.

Το remove make up I use wet wipes,,,but they are kinda expensive and the package has like 15 so after a while I just use soap and water...
but I guess thats not nice XD

Like the specialty wipes, or will baby wipes work? Cuz we got plenty of those.

I find that baby wipes work pretty well to get most of the makeup off.  (you'll still need to wash your face to get all of it off though).  Another tried and true method is cold cream (the stuff by "Ponds"),  it takes off most makeup.  The only thing that requires special treatment is waterproof mascara (which is a real bugger to get off). For that I use a dedicated eye makeup remover (you need to make sure you get one that says "Removes waterproof mascara" somewhere on it (I use one by Neutrogena).  I put it on those little cotton round disk things and hold it against my eyelashes for a couple seconds before rubbing the mascara off.  The trick is, that you normally apply mascara to the bottom side of your lashes, so that is where you need to remove it, so you'll need to drag the cleaning pad upwards to wipe off the bottom of your lashes.   Also be aware that dark lipstick can, and will, stain your lips.  A lot of lipsticks are specially formulated to stay on your lips, so it's pretty difficult to get all of it off.

As a closing note, I will remind you of the number one rule of makeup for ladies.  Use makeup to highlight your eyes OR your lips, but never both.  If you opt for bold lips, use understated eye makeup, and if you opt for bold eye makeup, used understated makeup on your lips.

Wow. This is very useful. I didnt know about the eyes and lips thing as i am a newb. Lol
Ill probly try reg stuff instead of waterproof. Just use a baby wipe then wash it all off just in case.

I'm a little late for a reply but I feel this is important. I recommend that you buy a product actually designed for removing makeup.. don't just use soap and water, or lotion. I made the mistake of not buying a specific makeup remover when I was practicing makeup and when I went in to work the next day, many people noticed and one asked me about it in front of half of my section. (I'm in the military) so you can see how embarrassed I was. Luckily everyone knows I have long eye lashes in my section so a few people vouched for me but I was still paranoid for the rest of the day. Mascara is quite hard to completely remove with out makeup remover, if you use soap and water it may look clean to you but at a distance it can appear darker and be quite noticeable.

Another good basic is to moisturize before and definitely after makeup. Your skin will love you for it. :)

Olive oil, kitchen olive oil, is an insanely good eye and lip makeup remover. Use that, and then use a cleanser afterwards for the rest and your base.

I remove makeup with foam cleanser, and then rub my face with one or two cotton pads soaked with skin-care toner.

When applying cream or foundation, stroke your face until all is absorbed into the facial skin, not rub.

I will say that I usually use baby oil and cotton balls to remove makeup, but I also do use the Dermablend makeup remover for things that don't come off from baby oil. It all seems to work pretty quickly.

I use the Generic Neutrogena eye make up remover from Meijer. I where 24 hr make up almost everyday, it works WELL!

Baby wipes contain a really high amount of alcohol and strip the natural oils off the skin, they work, but using baby wipes daily isn't good for your skin in the long run. The best facial product that would be difficult to recreate in a laboratory and market as an everyday product is the oils your skin naturally produces to regenerate and protect itself.

Aw thanks, it's not the most chic of makeup removing techniques but it literally strips everything in such a quick time. You don't have to pull or tug or be too rough with it and it works with my MAC
Fluidline which is a notoriously difficult product to remove -  and whenever I've been staying over at friends places I always can find olive oil in their pantry to remove my makeup.

It works alot better than most cosmetic product makeup removers I've tried, typically the best ones are oil-based - olive oil is virtually free in comparison aswell.

It's just important to wash it off within a 15/30-minute window, or you can get millia spots, but leaving some olive oil in your eyelashes does fantastic things.

I also lack skills in applying make up. Does not help having heavy facial growth. I cannot continue to afford to get in a make up artist every time I want to go out dressed. I need to learn not only how to apply make up but know what are the best products to apply
