Yes, today is one of those days.
So I got up early and watched Amelie on Netflix. There's only a few movies that make me feel real good when things are bleak, and they are:
Amelie - Humorous French film subtitled in English on Netflix
The Big Empty - Strange and funny on DVD
Room In Rome - Spanish movie in English on Netflix (caution - lesbian theme with nudity)

I loved Amelie, I identified with the main character very much. Makes me smile thinking about it.. I guess for me it would be "Y.P.F." (Don't ask me what it stands for)... Just generally weird and wonderful movies that leave me buzzed for hours

These two are on my list now. The others aren't on Netflix. Oh well.
Gay related? No problem Katie, I'm lesbian. :)

I don't watch films when I am down. I prefer watching documentaries of people suffering unimaginable medical afflictions. This helps me to balance my mind and be mindful that there are so many people in the world suffering a great deal more than I am. When I think about my life after seeing another persons life, I am very grateful to be my problems and not theirs.
Movies are fine, but for me, these documentaries give me the reality check I need. Peace to all.

I loved Lost in Translation!
Wayne's World always made me laugh, but I don't have a video player anymore and it's just gathering dust.

Interesting touch Trisha. I like it.
And all of your films are good. I'll add Blazing Saddles in my go-to-list

forrest gump makes me cry. several times throughout. overrated movie but just because i think most people only talk it up because its so hyped. its incredible.

When I'm sad, I always loved watching Back to the Future; things can always be more complicated than being trans. Lost in Translation is also fantastic; I can be in the darkest mood, and Bill Murry can snap me out of it. :)
