you know what really gets me?
The part of You Never Give Me Your Money where Paul McCartney sings:
"Soon we'll be away from here, step on the gas and wipe that tear away".
And then the juxtaposition: "One sweet dream came true today"
Oh how sweet.
And of course Golden Slumbers:
"Once there was a way to get back homeward, once there was a way to get back home....."
Nowhere Man is also such a song.
Mother by John Lennon too, even though it's more because of my father.
Especially these parts:
"Father, you left me, but I never left you
I needed you, you didn't need me
So I, I just got to tell you
Goodbye, goodbye"
"Mama, don't go, daddy, come home"
My mother is still with me, but the daddy part actually hurts. I just feel so hurt and tossed aside.

Tell Me Why - The Beatles
especially this part:
"If it's something i have said or done, tell me what and i'll apologize"
Tears Of Rage - The Band
especially the refrain
