A normal day at the office, hadn't had my first cup of coffee yet, but I did notice that my eyes weren't working properly, everything was blurred, and no matter what I did I realized that I couldn't focus on anything properly.

I wear contact lenses and I distinctly remember putting them in this morning so what the heck was going on?  You can't put them in upside down but you can put them in backwards but that wasn't the case as they really irritate the eyes if they are in backwards.

Aha then it clicked...  I put them in the wrong eye's duh...

I have mono vision contact lenses I have one prescription for reading for my left eye and one prescription for seeing distance for my right eye, consequently if I put them in the wrong eye's bingo!  blurred vision.

Never did that before.  I have to get more sleep.  I hate mornings...

Anyone else have one of those days?

Yep.... today

I was just getting dressed to go to work.

At about 6.15 am I got a phone call from a cute guy in Canada.... we talked for about 35 mins before I had to leave for work.

OK... I was flustered, rushed to my car, found I had no watch, no ear rings in and had left my lunch in the fridge.

Forgot to take my tablets and left my phone on my dressing table.

So, yes Steph, I had the kind of day your having (apart from I can see it!)

Does walking around the house for 5-10 minutes looking for my sunglasses and then wondering why it was so dark inside count?

Last thursday while getting ready for work I apparently put my polo shirt on, inside out.

Yup, today has been absolutely horrible. I am starting to think that requiring a test and a permit in order for people to reproduce might be a good thing. Many of the issues I have dealt with center around people not being able to comprehend what they read, even though it is on a seventh grade level.

Tink, we must be twins, I can't count the number of time I've put my sweater, or T inside out, so many times... I never looked at myself in the mirror so I got sort of an excuse.

Anybody ever flown somewhere and in the middle of the flight realized that you had on a brown shoe and a black shoe.  I did what any self respecting person would do.  I pulled a white sock out of my carry on bag, put the black shoe in the bag, put the white sock on my foot and limped through the worlds busiest airport.  LOL

So there I was sitting at my desk looking out of the window and noticed that the rain clouds were rolling in.  Then as forecasted (they're never right, right) the heavens opened up and down came the rain, rain like no other :)

I scanned the parking lot looking for cars with their windows down so that I could warn the owners and to my amazment there were none.  They were all up... except... for those of a little... blue..., Toyota... Yaris....  with gaping holes in the doors where windows should have been.

Rats, big black rats, with tails this freaking long...  I made a mad dash and although I managed to get the windows up the inside of "lil lizzy" was soaked and so was I :(  Oh well at least we'll dry, and it was nice to get out of the office.

i once lost the dog leas whilst walking the dog. The fact he was on the end of the lead didn't help me twig.

My most unaware moment came when I woke up in my van after sleeping in a friend's driveway. I looked at my watch, saw it was 11:00 AM and slowly came to the realization that it was completely dark in the van. My first conclusion was that I'd gone blind. I suffered under that delusion for some time before I realized that I'd seen my watch, so I couldn't be blind.

Snow had covered the windows, which was why it was dark.

My problem is forgetting to take my contacts out at night, wake up and put my glasses on and DOH.  Twice now in the last few weeks. 

i almost choked one night with those crest white strips.  forgot to remove them when i turned in.  ::)

I had a starting of a bad day. I was at the transportation office checking and I filled my coffee cup with coffee and walked all the way over to the parking lot (100yards away) and started to unlock my bus. Well, I didn't have my keys nor did I bring my route sheet or any of my paper work needed for my bus. I did have my coffee though and that was very good.
