I shower every couple days and I still break out really bad down there when I tuck. Is there a way to clear it up or something to help?

Remember that not all breakouts are from oily skin, they can also be caused by skin bacteria. This is especially true if the area in question has recently been shaved.
Do also bear in mind that some fabrics breathe better than others and that you are talking about an area with a considerable amount of sweat glands. The two-panty method can lead to an accumulation of excess moisture in a warm environment that contributes to the growth of flora which causes these breakouts.
Might I suggest letting your skin heal by sleeping commando as it were and being certain to use some powder to absorb moisture? I would also suggest using powder everyday as a preventative measure to see if that stops breakouts in the future.
I hope it works! Good luck!

I've not had a problem with breakouts (spots?) but I have had a problem with odor. Panties breathe less than underpants. Even showering and washing thoroughly every day meant I could last about 8 hours before the odor would return. Recently I took to using a flannel which gives me 24 hours odorless, make sure you scrub vigorously all around the crotch, behind the testes and under the foreskin and dry well.

I don't understand why people tuck unless you are wearing super duper tight skinny jeans. Or a bikini or something. I never tuck and don't know where to tuck it, and no one has said a thing. I'd just stop tucking. It sounds like it hurts.

Perhaps a shower every day would help.

Quote from: JS on January 25, 2014, 02:58:30 PMYeah. I would imagine that at least washing the downstairs department every night would help. The breakouts are caused by trapped bacteria and sweat clogging your pores. Your best bet would be to clean the area with soap and water so there isn't the bacteria to work with in the first place.
Perhaps a shower every day would help.

How long have you been on HRT?
In what form?
Do you always tuck? Are you sure it is ONLY when you tuck?
Also, ladies, thanks for the hygiene tips. Yet, y'all forgot to teach her to wipe front to back.
I share this outbreak, down there. It is not a hygiene issue for me. Do not jump to conclusions here. Some may consider it rude. I know I would.

Quote from: JS on January 25, 2014, 02:58:30 PMShowering can actually exacerbate the problem, particularly if you like a long hot shower. I do, and it takes me a good half hour to cool down after. If I put on my fluffy dressing gown after showering, I need another shower.
Perhaps a shower every day would help.
I've also never understood the point of a gaff, either, I don't see how it differs from a Tanga brief. I can't tuck and just use tight elasticated pants.

Yeah. Cotton panties with undersized control panties on top, but make sure you leave the hair around the thing when you shave. And after a while HRT will do wonders. If your also taking pain or stomach medications (among other drugs) for a long period of time you can get what's called Fixed Drug Eruptions. And those can mimic various types of rashes, or even herpes. It's alway best to talk to your doctor about the rash if it continues.

Some thermal wear have a layer of material that will remove perspiration away from the skin, in a one way action.
Wash in cold water using a non soap shower gel or glycerine (sorbelene) If that doesn't work, see a dermatologist.

Personally I tuck as little as possible, I still even go out in guy mode at times because I don't want to. When I do I actually use three pairs of soft panties. I tuck right into the crotch panel in a pair that has a hole in it and use the other two to secure and smooth it all out. I personally make sure everything is nice and comfortable and after about a year of practice I have stopped getting any kinds of pain or callousing yeah that can be a problem. After the days done and I untuck I always make sure to wash down there, even if I don't shower that day. It gets sweaty and feels funky if I don't actually. Also I shave everything down there often because hair really gets in the way and is uncomfortable. Being on hormones will definitely help a lot as everything shrinks btw.
