Hello! I am mtf just beginning hrt. My doctor prescribed me spiro and pending the results of a blood test, I should be starting estrogen in the next few month.
I've only been on spiro for a little less than a week and have already noticed some breast/nipple growth in addition to a tingling sensation and tenderness in my chest. Also, vastly increased sensitivity in my nipples. I've also noticed a slight shrinkage in the penis and difficulty maintaining an erection.
Is it odd to be experiencing these changes so soon on just spiro? All my research and conversations I had with my doctor suggested these changes would happen much later. What does this mean in the long term? Thanks for any info/experience you can share!

depends on the amount of breast growth and shrinkage/ pre T levels taking spiro- everything else def. normal early on spiro, usually within first two weeks. o/ welcome to the transition club!

Doc said t levels were normal, shrinkage was not very significant at all. Breast growth however was startling, more than I expected this early for sure. Thanks for the info and the welcome~~

I have been in Spiro for three weeks today and I am also noticing some breast growth. I'm pretty close to an A cup already. I will hopefully start Estrogen later this week. It's going to be a fun ride.

I haven't yet started HRT but my doctor told me that there are usually some immediate effects, its different for everyone as to how drastic the effects are, but they do exist.
