Title: sudden decrease breast growth
Post by: jussmoi4nao on February 10, 2014, 09:41:08 AM
hey so i was just wondering if it's normal to experience a sudden decrease in breast growth at around 3 months back on HRT?

About 2 months in i started feeling a grape size lump which continued growing to the size of a golfball and was very sore until just the last couple of days. The growth has gone down a lot in general and is no longer painful at all and now im a bit worried.

i kinda lost some time the last week and may have accidentally double dosed a couple times could that have any effect? thanks

I am on HRT for something around 130 days now. The breast growth is a bit difficult to predict, but overall it is following a stable course until now.

There are days where my breasts are really huge, but there are days where they seem to be smaller...they seem to change size all the time. They are one size at the morning, then other at the afternoon and back to the same size at night. I don't know if I am crazy or if it is a normal thing to happen with breasts.

The lumps behind my nipples gets very painfull for some days in a row, culminating in days where I find extremely painfull to touch them or just to sleep with my back up. Then, suddenly, the pain stops and for a few days I can't feel nothing...then it starts again.

As it seems that breasts grow in a cyclic way, you may be passing for a time where the growth is slower, but it should be back soon and in no time you will wake up and look at the mirror and see a nice pair of boobs :).

Wowzers Natalia i almost didn't recognise you in your avatar! You look wonderful babe :)

Steph, breast growth in natal women takes many years, i guess some of us develop quickly and others a lot more slowly. I'm like 8 months in and my chest is starting to shape up and breast tissue is forming, but it comes in spurts. Hang in there gorgeous  :-*

think of it like growth spurs. Best way to put it. Mine blow up like ballons over the time span of a week or 3, then go dormant for a month or 3, rinse and repeat.

In my experience it fluctuates.  Some days my chest aches and other days it's fine.  It's something that takes a lot of time.  One thing I haven't experienced is my chest size decreasing.  The growth may slow down and it's a slow process, but I haven't see my growth revert.  I would note that most breast tissue is fat, at least that's what I have always heard.  Therefore, it probably helps to make sure you are eating enough fat to assistance breast development.  As a vegetarian, I have developed a love for carbs which I feel has helped with the fat redistribution in a big way  Maybe give that a shot.
