Title: It's been about a half hour since my first E

They are starting me with no T blockers, and a fairly low dose of E; they will up that after they see how I am doing. I feel a little calmer, but expect that is a placebo effect. I know that the physical changes will take time, but I am hoping that changes in my mental and emotional outlook will come much sooner. I would be interested in any personal stories about changes that took place in the first few days or weeks.
Take Care,
April

Yup. First effect was a cathartic calmness.
Nipples sprung to life within the first week, as did some slight budding.
General happiness for the first two months, at the end of the first month the novelty of hormones had begun to fade, so I could feel a difference between hormone happy and just plain happy because I was finally doing something for myself.
Most changes I noticed quickly were from Spiro. Reduced libido. No morning wood. Less aggression.
I also started on a moderate dose of E.
Ever doctor does things differently and as always, YMMV.
Congrats!
How were your bottle opening skills?

I noticed...something after starting E. Like something in my head, but I can't put a finger on it. I don't want to call it calmness, because it doesn't feel that way to me. I wish I could explain it better, but certainly it feels different. Like the feeling started minutes after dissolving under my tongue, and I have no words for it.
Still all other physical changes take more time than 30 minutes, but you will be surprised how quickly your skin softens.

It's been about an hour and twenty minutes, and I think I know what you mean. I feel unusually calm, but there is more to it than just that. It is like a shift in awareness. I am more aware of my body than usual, and the various sensations it gives me.

good luck on starting...
the first thing I noticed on e was breast soreness around day 5 ...I think the calmness effect is mostly placebo...
