So my therapist see's me and goes.. OMG how much weight have you lost.. made me feel so good.
Anyway, I am out to several family members now and all is great with that so far.
I told my therapist that all my walls are down and my male self is pretty much a gone and I consider myself and accept myself as female.
It feels good,, so good to be so free and on HRT and having changes happen.
So she now calls me by me female name that I wanted since I was about 12 or so...
I still can't believe this is happening and I am all smiles ..when I am not crying.LOL.
Carrie

That's great!
My gender councillor was the first person to start calling me Grace and refer to me as a woman in the real world, that was many months ago and I was presenting as male at the time...my heart sang! And you know, during my first transition attempt my shrink never did that, not saying it would have stopped me detransitioning but it might have helped!

Thank you Ellie and Grace
Only we know how that feels.. to finally accept and let the walls we built to survive down.
Its been a long time coming... such a journey..such a wonderful feeling.
Hugs to you both,
Carrie

I have just started getting sort of indirect female references. I still present as male (baldness is certainly a male gender marker :(). At a voice therapy group session this week, when I was working with 2 of the clinicians, another came in "excuse me ,Ladies..." which seemed so natural. I was there as my male name (straight from work) but it made no difference to them. A very positive experience.
To the rest of the world it probably seems to be no big deal I suppose, but when it happens to you, very special.
